Ashley likes this logic He must be joking like
-
Problem is Hernandez record this season is shite, no better than Gayle's. Obviously we've got to trust Benitez if that's what he wanted to do but I'd be worried personally that Hernandez would offer us little more than we already have. Plus we'd have lost the option of Shelvey in tight games.

Fucking bring it!!! Tottenham with their mental season ticket prices and bigger branding. All we will have is player trading. Get players to play well and sell them on. Nothing different to what Ashley had been trying to do for a decade. We won’t try and build something like a successful football team, just a profitable one. Sorry, I should have realised that you know everything about everything and can see into the future. Your boring and uneducated posts are getting a bit tedious now, you don’t know any of that for certain but bang on like you have a clue. My uneducated guess will be closer to the truth than you care to admit. It’s why you are spitting the dummy, deep down you know I’ll be right. Unfortunately. But please, continue to act like a twat when an opinion doesn’t match up to your own. You're throwing around guesses based on fuck all and stating them as fact, you deserve any shit you get to be honest.

We were getting parachute payments in the Championship so the increase won't be that much. Revenue will certainly be up significantly though, then again the wage bill will also have increased (surely players will have had wage increases in their contracts). Also if you sell a club on the basis its in the Premier League you can't then increase your asking price when you get the inevitable payment from being in that league. Well I mean logically, obviously Ashley logic may be different.
-
I doubt that Ashley is pitching the club as "A Premier League side that possibly might go down this season". So improving our chances of survival shouldn't change his asking price at all.
-
You'd have thought investment firms like this would do their homework on how Football works... They've paid £110m for a 60% share of the club, and they seem to believe they can make a profit by selling players and doing nothing to stop relegation. But of the £97m revenue 82% is from Premier League TV money and sponsorship/gate receipts would also drop from relegation. Its reasonable to assume that income would drop to about 10% of its current level after a couple of years in the Football league. The clubs value would drop similarly. They just aren't going to make a profit by leeching from the club as it drops into the Championship.

If Ashley is preventing pre-takeover investment against the wishes of potential new owners there just won't be a takeover at all.
-
Nah silly lad should have scored better, don't care if its a goal unless its clean as fuck, has to be unstoppable quite frankly or it doesn't count IMO.
-
IMO its a silly fee for a lad who has scored a goal every 4 games for the last one and a half seasons and barely plays at all for a side 3 points above us. Then again why would Watford want to sell to a club 3 points below them for a reasonable fee? Better just to spend that money elsewhere if we have it anyway.

Who's the other seven pawns in Ashley's global Machiavellian chess game?

Strange aint it https://mobile.twitter.com/TomBenbow/status/948989917450899456/photo/1 doesnt that mean its 1065 millions... thats how i read it as the column is in £m as it states above so they actually have £106,500,000 Aye these kind of financial reports are always in millions, so net assets are actually £1,065,800,000. They seem to have fuck all reserve cash.

Worst name on earth, next.

Once his confidence is up he's got a great ability to beat players. Just need to get him in that mood more often.

Stoke the worst home side I can remember seeing in this league. Basically everything went there way decision wise and they still couldn't do anything.

Stoke City vs Newcastle United - 1/1/18, 3pm KO.

Just saying that's what people are thinking. The only thing that seems certain is that unless we get a takeover in time we won't be spending more money than we bring in from sales, its always been that way under this cunt. We also need a decent striker more than we'd need a replacement for Shelvey. -

Because people think it may be the only way we can buy and he's been shite. -

Might as well try something different, our last performance was Footballing AIDS. -
As well as claim others are upset because they disagree.

Again, if we have a conversation like adults - nobody is saying Ben Arfa CANT be your favourite, they are just intrigued and questionning why. Rubbish, the original comment that started this was a outright claim that Ben Arfa isn't good enough to be a favourite player. Didn’t say that he’s not allowed to have him as a favourite player - just stated, in his opinion, that he doesn’t think Ben Arfa is good enough to be held that highly. A forum is a place for opinions, people are allowed them and people are allowed to question them. Its a pointless discussion, instead of giving an opinion on someone elses opinion just give a opinion on the subject. As in "Ok, My favourite player is X" not "Wow, no way is he good enough for you to like him that much" its fucking weird man.

I've heard it all now like, this forum is mental

Create a new thread, players people can and can't consider to be their favourite player. Wait for all the mental cunts to go in and lock them in there.

Hard to say, Brighton have 2 more points than Bournemouth so would normally say a Brighton win, but maybe at this stage in the season a draw would be better Also after watching Brighton against us the other day its hard to imagine them beating anyone. Not just based on how defensive they were, obviously that could change at home. But just how fucking shite they were, I can't remember seeing a side pass the ball out of play that many times before. At one point they threw it out of play from a fucking throw in!

If he fails to strengthen in January they'll simply pull the plug on the purchase.
