  1. Didn't PCP Capital bid for Liverpool, have it rejected and make a second bid? Interested to know what the amounts were if that's true.
  2. Pahahahahh You ok lad? He's either a mackem or fucked in the head mate, ignore him.
  3. The whole Liverpool conspiracy thing is just silly. At the moment they'll be spending a five figure sum to pay a legal firm to look at our books. That would be one hell of an elaborate ploy. I suppose some will claim we don't really know they're doing due diligence ect, well if they weren't I'd think at least one person would say they aren't,
  4. Any new owner has to apply to the Premier League so they can do their "fit and proper person test". I mean Ashley passed it so it mustn't take much to be eligible but I think it does still take a bit of time and apparently numerous new potential owners of clubs have failed it and not been allowed to take over (must be right evil cunts if they failed and Ashley passed like).
  5. This isn't a transfer window and PCP/Stavely don't owe us anything. They'll take their time to make sure this is the right club to buy. If its true that they want this done with time to plan for the January transfer window then I'd think that they'll have to apply to the Premier League by the end of this month at the latest.

    England

At least Abraham isn't starting again I suppose.
  7. Thought Gayle did well overall, linked up well. Should have made more of a couple of chances and of course did score a perfectly good goal. Also might have had a chance to score again if he wasn't blatantly pushed over when almost clear on goal at the end (another amazing refereeing decision).
  8. Could definitely have done with him as an impact sub against Burnley.
  9. Aye cheers didn't realise... still spastic talk like
  10. Players leave and we call them for being disloyal, but this is the kind of fucking shite that people talk about our own players. The lad isn't being lazy, he's just a limited player in a defensive team, but aye lets abuse the fucker.. I mean fucking hell, what the fuck does "can't be fuckery" even mean? you fucking prat..
  11. He wasn't at all, didn't do great but as I said he won three headers, drew a couple of fouls which got us free kicks and linked up ok in general.
  12. Also won headers and drew fouls, helped us get the ball up into the Palace half more. Won more headers in the 12 minutes he was on than Joselu won in the other 78 minutes. Not having a go at Joselu either, it just wasn't happening for him and Mitrovic gave us more of a presence up top which helped the team.
  13. Well I've had Sky Sports on for 20 minutes now and I'm yet to hear Newcastle or Burnley mentioned once.
  14. Registered once on RTG and lasted a day before being banned, that was about 12 year ago. Might not last another day here if you keep winding people up
  15. You've got no idea who's behind it so how can you come to any conclusion at all about their motives? Also even if they don't throw money at us, all it takes is for them to not be utter cunts and run the club well on its own money and we can do far better than we do now. Ashley's problem isn't a aversion to risk, in fact he takes too many risks which so far have cost the club tens of millions (losses from relegations he caused by taking risks and terrible decision making). Tens of millions that could have been spent on pushing the club forward and building on its potential.
  16. Or that they want a Premier League club and have certain values set on each one. So they've bid for one at a certain price and now they're bidding for another at a different price, not everything is a game/ploy. BTW I didn't hear about this lot signing any NDAs to look at Liverpool's books. Did I miss that or are they supposed to have offered £1.5bn for Liverpool without doing any due diligence?....
  17. It's been in the back of my mind since the beginning. Is anyone really that stupid though?, I mean outside of Mike Ashley.
  18. If someone thinks its better value to buy Liverpool for £1.5bn than Newcastle for £300m or so then good luck to the fucking mental weirdo.
  19. Absolutely, its completely wrong IMO that we need someone to throw money at us. Just running the club well and being ambitious would be enough to increase revenue significantly. Get all our fans completely behind the club and the city buzzing, more shirts will sell, fans will be prepared to pay more for tickets. The clubs image will improve and bring in better sponsorship deals, plus money from actually selling adds in the stadium rather than giving the space to Sports Direct. We can finish higher in the league, get back into Europe. Its very possible to build huge revenues here with good ambitious ownership and the right manager, and we already have the right manager.
  20. Foden does look excellent like.
  21. Liverpool isn't it?, Brewster that is. EDIT: Aye he was at Chelsea then Liverpool.
  22. Mostly Monreal's fault, he put Cech in a bad situation. Having said that Cech should have smashed it not tried to go round Niasse. To me, it looked like Cech didn't realise Monreal had passed it to him, and when he did Niasse was already on him. The pass back was weak as well. Like I said I'd put most of the blame on Monreal personally. Just saying that once the ball reached Cech the best option was smashing it first time IMO.
