Caught something on the radio at work earlier (talksport I assume). Talking about West Broms plight and Pardew's horrendous record since 2016 (as if its just since 2016...). Quickly followed by the conclusion that obviously he's not a bad manager despite the stats and of course its not his fault that West Brom are in the shit. Apparently its the fault of the people who employed him So in other words its not Pards fault that he's been terrible, its the fault of the people who employed the shit cunt But if they all claim he's a good manager really, then how is it the fault of the people who employed this so called good manager? So many levels of complete and utter nonsense.

Same things could have been said for the last 11 matches though. But we still managed to get over a point a game. Anythings possible, but I don't see a real reason to think we'll be worse over the next 11, if anything there's reason to think we'll be better.
-
Our next 11 games look less difficult than our last 11 which we got 13 points from. Also we now have Dubravka, Kenedy and soon Slimani. 9 points seems extremely pessimistic.
-
Could that be the Xmas fixtures? Imagine 10 games on TV on Boxing Day. Fantastic! Don't have to imagine - we have every match in every gameweek available here in the US. Most do here to be honest, just not supposed to talk about it on here

I'd prefer Amazon as they'll probably just include it with Prime. You can get as many Prime free trials as you want so free matches
-
10 points from our last 7 games, and the massive majority of those without Kenedy and Dubravka let alone Slimani. 11 games left, so I'd be surprised if we didn't end on at least 40 points.

Reason to sell would be lots of money, absolutely no reason to sell if we go down as he'd never accept losing money on a sale.
-
Dohnt think so A fair ref once or twice would do like..
-
Not only did it just dribble against the wall, it wasn't even on target..
-
What the fuck are people on about comparing Slimani to Doumbia ect?, fucking weirdo's He came with an injury so its hardly surprising that he's missed two games.
-
Gayle up front?, lets just not bother.

You know what, when Joselu does this, you'll be right, until then you're wrong, have a nice evening one of his 4 goals in 25 appearances in the Championship there. Meanwhile, the universally deemed not good enough Joselu has 4 goals in 22 appearances in the Premier League. GET.HIM.IN.THE.TEAM Would be interesting to lose the term ‘appearances’ and change it to minutes played, a more accurate reflection. Be my guest dude. Mitro - 4 goals and 6 assists in 1122 minutes as a bit part player, rarely starting 2 games in a row Joselu - 4 goals and 1 assist in 1562 minutes with 19 starts Looks totally different compared to the skewed figures you tried to use. Joselu has what? 1 goal in his last 9 appearances. I dont care less if Mitro turns up every day to training in stockings and heels, he’s still a better striker and we’d have been better off with him in the team. Had on, I'm no Mitrovic hater, but that's Championship stats vs Premier League stats. I do personally think Mitrovic is better than Joselu (assuming he can manage to stay on the pitch). But not by a wide enough margin to say he should be in the side no matter what he's doing in training, fucking hell, Ben Arfa he is not like..

Think the same, Sturridge has major problems with injury, its been about 4 years since he played regularly. Then you've got the fact he just seems like a bit of a tit (I mean that dance FFS) Also for all of him being considered proven, if you directly compare their records in the time Slimani has been here: Sturridge - 1200 minutes played - 5 goals = goal every 2.66 games Slimani - 1521 minutes played - 8 goals = goal every 2.11 games
-
Well they are currently, because they're in the top 6. Their current form is at least that level as well.
-
Should be pretty poors odds all things considered like. Fulham have 17 games between now and early May and Mitrovic should be able to play all of them in a poorer league and in a top 6 side. We have 13 games and Slimani can realistically play 11 of those in a higher quality league were his team is in a relegation battle.
-
Started 11 games and played a total of 12 matches based on total minutes played. Contributed to 10 goals (4 goals and 6 assists), definitely wasn't ineffective. Very interested to see what he'll do if he's given a run of games. Much more interesting move than if he'd gone back to Anderlecht. Hope he does well, he's still our player after all so that could only be good for us.

Of course the positives out weight the negatives. The negative is we lost 2 points. The positive is Kenedy showed he can make a big difference and we just need a finished to change draws to wins, and we've just signed one.
-
We only have 3 on loan unless I am missing something and also is it not 5 loans maxium?? 3 this window plus didn't merino count? Merino isn't a current loan so no, wouldn't count.
-
Possible Leicester would rather have sold him but just happy to get him off the books with it being deadline day. From the p,ayers point of view a loan works as he wouldn't be stuck here should we go down. How long has he been injured btw ? Just wondering if he'd have been playable had we signed him on New years day ? He just got a injury in training yesterday apparently, some say he can recover in 5-6 days some say 2 weeks.
-
His ability to not play Football matches? The fucker should be thinking about getting back on track not a extra few quid. Good luck playing right wing for Pardew.
-
The fact that we have loaned Slimani, and loaned ou Mitrovic coukd easily be read as a sign that Ashley wants Rafa out. Hows that then? Rafa wanted Mitrovic sold so we could buy Slimani, indicating his intentions for the club going forward. Ashley is only interested in short term. At the end of the season Rafa will be back at square one. He also didn't want him sold to a Premier League side and nobody else wanted to pay for him.
-
Even though he hasn't been a success at Leicester, when you look at goals vs minutes played he's still almost 1 in 2 in the league and better than that in all competitions. Joselu and Gayle are both 1 in 4. Everywhere else he's played he's been a 1 in 2 or better striker.
-
Aye bound to be on like £150k a week like.. The fact that we have loaned Slimani, and loaned ou Mitrovic coukd easily be read as a sign that Ashley wants Rafa out. Hows that then?
-
Needs a lift in his career, goes to a low profile club with no fans managed by Alan Pardew, aye mint choice..
-
Seems like before now Leicester would only sell and we're to cheap to pay the £20m+ they wanted. Now they're prepared to loan since nobody else has come in with the money.
