  1. Yep, the rules and officiating cause so many problems. Same thing with players holding and dragging players down in the area. Start giving lots of those as penalties and pretty soon it'll stop happening.
  2. He had his hand on his shoulder pulling him back for 5 or 6 seconds straight as he's trying to shoot. "He did really well says Caragher" 🤮
  3. Or this forum with the obsession of bringing up one sided politics during a Football match.
  4. Nobody there to deflect it in for him.
  5. One of the big boys? You're talking about them like we're in League One and they're Premier League. We play in a league more competitive than there's every week and play teams ever season as good or better. We're at home. Yes we played well, but happy with a draw at home? No! Doesn't mean I'm having a go at the players who played tonight. But no I'm not going to be happy to have drawn at home against "one of the big boys". Loser mentality.
  6. Think we're just so used to horrendously bias refereeing that a ref who's simply a bit bias seems decent.
  7. Four minutes are up, take a fucking yellow or something before they get anywhere near the area.
  8. The most stupid part is they were acting as if, because it might have hit the keeper before it went in, that means it's not direct from his hand. Just not the way it works at all.
  9. First replay you can see that's a handball. There's nothing to consider there because the rules are clear on goals off the hand or lower arm. But it took them minutes to disallow it. Yet a few seconds to disallow the other goal which actually did require consideration because it was an interpretation of offside. Tells you everything about the decisions they want to come to and the ones they don't.
  10. Aye so it was the lad who stopped because he knew he'd be offside. They didn't even draw lines or spend any time considering it. Just brushed over a massive decision on 5 seconds.
  11. I don't understand what just happened.. Who was offside? Only player in a offside position never touched the ball or even close. No lines drawn, no explanations. The "check" took seconds.
  12. It's also the fact that U.S sports put profit ahead of absolutely everything else. The structure is all designed for profit rather than competition. The same reason the American owners of PL clubs want relegation removed and other anti competitive measures to remove any chance of losing money.
  13. Except he wasn't chucking anything in. He had some weak games but never made the huge mistakes Pope has made repeatedly. I do think we should be looking for a top keeper though. Despite the fact Ramsdale is better than Pope. We should be looking for someone of a really high level.
  14. Not sure, might just be getting out quickly for 5 pints during half time so they can cope with the second half.
  15. I'm not even convinced that rendered version is the same as the real image..
  16. Think some of them are actually crazy. He's just watched a Spurs player grab a Palace player from behind and climb on him and gives Spurs the free kick. Whatn goes on in their heads? Ah Goal..
  17. Should never have been down to 10, the result and that goal makes it a bit easier to swallow another night of insane refereeing. Some very good performances tonight. Joelinton, Trippier, Burn, Hall, Ramsdale, Gordon and obviously Osula who looked desperate to do something when he came on. Hopefully this changes our fortunes, and changes Man Utd's fortunes in the other direction.
  18. Aye he didn't read the attackers mind, should definitely do that next time.. The attacker is meeting the ball at the near post so he's goes over to the near post. How exactly can he predict he's going to glance across goal instead?
  19. It's flashed at goal from a sharp angle 6 yards away. He's moving to his near post because he expects the header to go to that post because that's where the attacker is meeting the ball. The ball goes diagonally across him instead, back where he's come from. If he's saves that in that situation it's a great save. To say a decent keeper is just expected to save that is insane man. People honestly need to get a grip.
  20. I'm close to being convinced there are just weird trolls on here now like. If he saves that it's a great save, not saving it doesnt suddenly make it his fault.
  21. The VAR check took 20 seconds, it was confirmed by the first replay.
  22. Are you seriously trying to tell me that goal was Ramsdale's fault? Honestly?
