The worst image they have you just have to line up the edge of the touchline with the edge of the ball above and you can see the ball is overhanging the line. Souness sounds like he's about to launch a probe into russian interference or something FFS.

The only problem I've got with VAR itself is the waiting to be sure its a goal. I can't blame the ability to see a video replay of a incident for bad decisions, with good decision makers that will always be better than not having it. It also removes the excuse of "I didn't see it", we know they saw it, we know they're cheating without a doubt.

VAR looked at the Maguire one as well, and decided it wasn't worth mentioning to the ref. Sorry but I don't believe anyone can look at that incident and think "Nah that's not worth looking at", let alone then the same people asking the ref to look at that nothing incident and actually giving a pen. Its absolutely corruption.

Refs need to start getting some balls and saying no to the VAR people if its just not a pen..
