Or if its purely a 10 game deal to keep us up, with a huge pay day for him.

Charnley would probably say "Steve, #wait"

If Benitez is prepared to take over for any length of time and no matter what it costs fucking do it now, what are you fucking waiting for?!

Anything that takes the decision out of Charnley's hands is good in my book, don't care about making it hard for him personally, just want to stay up. Had enough of the whole relegation bollocks last time, not following these fuckers down again. Also can't even contemplate the utter drivel we'll get from all and sundry about how we shouldn't have hounded Pardew out because look what happened, we got relegated and his new club stayed up..

Yeah if keeping McClaren or £4m a year for Moyes are the only two options its the second one every time. But I can understand why people would be surprised at Moyes asking for that much money.

It's about 3 league places higher in prize money. So what?, its far more than he's worth. Benitez is the kind of manager you pay whatever it takes to get, Moyes isn't. If we're going to throw money at a manager I'd rather offer Benitez £1m for 10 games and £3m bonus if we stay up.

How the fuck does his car drive away but he's still there?

Even if nobody wanted to right now permanently, all they have to do is offer the best managers they can think of £1m to manage us for 10 games and a huge bonus for keeping us up. They'll have plenty of managers much better than McClaren ready to take a couple of months out of their schedule to make some huge money. For us it would be a drop in the ocean to what we'd lose if we were relegated, so money very well spent.

They just fancied a trip away then? If the board has gone off to have a meeting without him something is happening, doesn't mean he'll be sacked like but here's hoping.

Its not like, he might be worth billions theoretically but its not like he makes hundreds of millions of pounds every week, not to mention the fact he's a man completely driven by money. He'd fucking hate to lose that kind of cash. Think it'll come down to delusion/stupidity if he keeps him rather than not being bothered. Does seem to be something happening anyway, don't think this ever happened with Pardew (meetings without him, journo's sure he was going ect).
  11. Is that Moyes before he was alive?

Multiple players testifying to it? He's not doing a very good job of coaching our players, that's for sure. You can be as good a coach as you like but if you have little tactical knowledge or any ability to motivate players the team will generally be shit. Only time they'll have a chance is against another team with no plan that just sits back and lets them play and if the players can motivate themselves for the game.

I'm sure that is the reason. But once you decide you need to spend £80m on players to avoid relegation due to that policy (and even then you're still going down) you're no longer keeping costs down. If they accept that the manager is the problem, then the only option has to be break with the current policy on spineless managers? Probably giving them too much credit in the brains department though.
  14. Exactly, what would it say about us if Rafa Benitez got no votes? Surely the poll is about who you think is the best option on that list, not who you think some cunt currently in charge of the club will bring in.
  15. Fucking hell if Benitez really wanted the job the conversation should be as easy as: "Hi Rafa, what would you like?" .. "Ok, agreed, see you tomorrow" I'd be amazed if they had the brains to realise such a great opportunity though. Probably think he'd be too difficult to deal with. To thick to realise that if the manager/head coach is easy to deal with and basically a lap dog then the team of players will also treat him like a lap dog and do fuck all on the pitch.
  16. The most pathetic thing is they've only had one bad run with this moron in charge, but they think they're in a position to compare themselves to us. They've seen fuck all yet, we suffered this cunt for years, deluded twats.
  17. Except the fact that we're much better at home than away. Also we beat them away, yeah they were the better team like, but I'll take any win.
  18. Next three matches: Liverpool (H) Leicester (H) West Ham (A) Could easily be 14 without a win by then.
  19. He keeps saying the team isn't consistent. He's wrong. The team performances are consistently shit. The good performances are the anomalies. Over the last 3 months we've been quite consistently good at home and consistently shit away. I wouldn't say the good results are any more anomalous than the bad, its a clear pattern, good at home, shit away and yes its very frustrating. But obviously its McClarens fault anyway, so he needs to sort it rather than go on about how frustrating it is.
  20. Palace have 3 points from their last 10 games, so the gap has closed 5 points in that time.
  21. Sunderland draw and Norwich get smashed to pieces would be nice. Pardew goes to 11 without a win, but we don't drop in the league (Norwich and Mackems switch places) and we have two games in hand on both.
  22. Its like sophie's choice tonight like, I mean I don't want Sunderland to go ahead of us, but I just can't bring myself to want Palace to win. I suppose a draw would be best, Sunderland would be ahead of us on goal difference but we'd have two games in hand.

    He deserves to lose her.
