I noticed this as well. Thought it was just me seeing things. Surely they're not restricted view or anything like that. Its UEFA regulations, fans have to be a certain distance from the pitch or something. So at SJP are a ok as there is an area between pitch and the stand but stam bridge is right on the pitch so they have to have empty seats. It was the back 5/6 rows though of the upper tier of the Mathew Harding stand I think its called.

Agreed, Sunderland will be lucky to get another point, 3 tough games that they will be big underdogs for. If Hull get something at Villa or beat Stoke then I will be less confident, but the run-in we have is a gift compared to the others. No excuses, we should stay up and can't have any complains if we go down. If Pompey wasn't a must win, then this is. Win or bust I'm afraid.

A mate had a spare in the Man Utd end today so i went along. Boro are fucking awful,no spirit/fight whatsoever. At least we gave a much stronger Man Utd ago (i realise we lost anyway). Would be shocking if they stayed up instead of us, not that I think they will.

We can't have any complains, completely deserve to go down, definitely one of the 3 worst sides. Really think we needed that last night, if we can't beat them in our most winnable match why would we beat Boro or Fulham who have more to play for. Shows how bad the standard has been this year that we can still stay up by winning 2 games (IMO 37 will be enough) which we really should expect to be able to win.
