  1. Was it definitely you who said that? Sounds like a madras post to me.

Cant imagine it's any good like, but limited tickets left like. View should be spot on! Sat there a few times and it's alright, bit of a weird sensation being under the away fans and unable to see them.

What's level 5 then, out of curiosity? There's no Level 3 or 5 as far as seating goes, think it's just based on floor numbers or something.

The red bit is L6, bit above is just referred to as the L7 balcony.

L1I for me, I'm gonna find you. Think you're right near me for Benfica too, aren't you? I'll be waiting. East stand E, row A for Benfica. Front row? Hope you can see over the hoardings Wait, is there even a row "A" in the East? Do you mean Gallowgate Stand East (in the corner?)
  7. Think this time last year they were anticipating a "break even" scenario for these accounts, so to come out slightly up is good news really - although we did suffer on the pitch for it in the first part of the season When you consider the next accounts will include Europa League revenue, plus the fact we swapped Smith, Lovenkrands, Guthrie, Best, Forster and Kadar for Anita, Amalfitano, Bigirimana and Good in the summer they should make for interesting reading. Obviously Ba out and Sissoko, Yanga-Mbiwa, Debuchy, Gouffran and Haidara in from January may balance this somewhat... Xisco and Ranger will probably be by-the-by given they'll have been bunged something to leave early.

Do you not have one sitting in your basket hiding already? That happened to me when it was only letting me select "0" earlier on. no as when i click to go to checkout there's nothing there. Another lad in here having exactly the same problem and another mate e-mailed to say the same. It was doing similar to me with the Benfica tickets last week too, took until after lunch for me to actually be able to select some seating. Only thing I could suggest is logging out and logging in again, or trying a different browser/computer in case it's something cache/cookie related.

Milburn/Leazes, where the away fans used to sit.

Because it's so busy that they're probably trying to reduce load on the system by eliminating that method of ordering. They know it's going to sell out regardless.
  15. Milner wide, no Taylor... I'm watching France.

    Shola Ameobi

    He hasn't peaked yet!?
  18. We would miss his harrying/tackling mind, unless Sissoko could surprise on that front. The amount of times he wins the ball back is exceptional really, when you consider he is a creative player at his core.

    Other clubs' transfers

Aye, the fact he's being backed with good money will easily add to the pressure on his shoulders - will be interesting to see if he can push them on a bit. To be fair to him it did look like he was doing exactly that with us before the axe fell, particularly with the arrivals of Tiote and Ben Arfa.
  20. Given Ben Arfa's injuries, Coloccini's issues and Cisse's form is it fair to say he's become our most important player now? Thought we coped well without him last season - largely thanks to Guthrie being a good deputy - but he appears to be "the man" for us now. Would still like to see him and Sissoko alternate during games a bit though, as he's proven equally adept further forward and it would allow us to be a little less predictable if nothing else. I understand we need someone to aim our goal kicks at, mind.

    Other clubs' transfers

Might be simplistic to say it, but perhaps it can show how just being a decent, genuine bloke who people are happy to be managed by and to play for can get you quite far. He's obviously an intelligent guy as far as people involved in football go as well, but I'm not sure there's that much else about him that stands out. Don't think he appears to be particularly astute tactically or inspirational in any significant way, he's a good man manager above all else. Think Ronaldo is right about him and Pardew being of a similar level overall, Pardew has a lot more flash about him but they're fundamentally similar in their approach.
