He'd fit in beautifully with Zeman's style tbf.
-
Explains why he was outjumped late in the evening then. Touché.

It was just after we'd loaned Hatem if it's the same period I'm thinking of. He got dropped to the bench and then came back looking much more like his old self after Hatem's injury. I don't think "his legs are gone" quite adequately covers his current issues either, by the way, which is what I'm seeing a lot of on here at the minute. He's massively off form regardless of that. He's not even doing the Jonas basics at the minute.
-
He was still getting chances too, which still boggles my mind as people seem to totally gloss over that fact. He was just missing them. Obviously he was having to work harder and run a fair bit more in terms of tracking back but there were also plenty of occasions where he swapped with Cisse for prolonged periods and it was Cisse doing the donkey work.
-
Let's just agree that he's 6'4" eh lads? People shrink throughout the day, you know? He might be nearer 6'5" when he wakes up and nearer 6'3" when he goes to sleep.

NUFC.com have had it "officially confirmed" UD, give it up:

Deserve is a bit strong but they didn't have a chance of note til they scored really. Draw wouldve been fairest. Aye, I just don't get where this "we were robbed" sort of attitude is coming from, although I appreciate the overwhelming tone on here is negativity at the moment so we might all be a bit clouded. Fair enough we conceded two bad goals and had a tenuous penalty shout immediately preceding the first. Add to the fact that Ba and Cisse missed two fairly difficult one-on-ones, but then Kenwyne Jones missed a sitter (in header terms) before they scored and I never thought we looked particularly comfortable even though Stoke were hardly pulling up trees. Just stank of a typical PL bore-fest to me that could've easily gone either way. It was better from us, undoubtedly, but it was starting from a very low point after Southampton.
-
Does anyone else believe that we "deserved to win" this by the way? Fair enough we looked hungrier, sharper and played with more of that "verve" Pardew's always going on about than we have done recently, but I'm not sure if we "were the better team" personally. Thought a draw would've been a fair enough result.

Didn't even get confirmation if that throw for their first was actually theirs or not. Bollocks.

I think I heard Perch is suspended on Monday night. Could be wrong.
-
Just feel like going around giving out some Stone Cold Stunners tbh. Might buy some cans then knock next door and see if anyone's in.

Here's my impression of Jonas:
-
Feel like I've been botted here. Was that definitely not our throw before their first goal? Am I blind?
-
Mike, can you please win a fucking header? Absolute fucking goon.

Not many about, i think in my entire footy life i was the only lefty in any of my teams. There's three on the bench Four including Elliot. Marveaux's the only one I'd want starting at the minute like. -

When's the last time we drew each other in the cup? 1956? Far too long. -
