I said it earlier in the thread: Colo's back for Stoke so someone has to get injured or suspended, as it's one in, one out with our players at the moment. I bet Taylor was injured. Taylor looked like he did his hamstring about five minutes previous. He was hobbling about for a good while.

STOP THE FUCKING CROSS MAN DANNY.

Possibly the most one-sided 2-0 I've ever seen. What an aimless, gutless pile of wank from us.

Eh? We always do it. -
Nearest pub to the training ground, innit?

Forgot Perchinho was potentially back as well, will probably be him and Tiote in the middle if it's 4-4-2 if so.
-
I was just looking to make a Hook reference man
-
Shola's out as well according to Pardew on .co.uk, so maybe it'll not be as I thought at all. Or maybe it'll just be 4-4-2 with Cisse and Ba
-
Krul Simpson Williamson S. Taylor Santon Obertan Tiote Jonas Marveaux Sh. Ameobi Ba Think it'll be something like that, maybe with Jonas on the left if Pardew trusts Anita or Bigirimana enough to put them in. If Obertan's not fit enough to start then I assume one of those two will come in, or he'll play Fergie left again with Marveaux switching over. Basically I can see him reverting to two banks of four and an even more direct approach.
-
Can see us going back to basics in a 4-4-2 with Ba and Shola up front here. Obertan will probably start if he's fit enough, too. Not even kidding.

I posted that on 1st Feb and it still holds (bar the obvious part), although his charm is wearing off slightly with every passing interview. He's either telling porkies or he's in denial, neither of which is exactly brilliant. If everyone pulls together - from the boardroom in January to the players from tonight - then we'll turn it around. As much as I agree Pardew is the key man in everything and deserving of the most blame for the season so far, he can't do it all himself and he is being let down by others at times too. We need some quality reinforcements in when the window opens - even just the one or two we should have bought in the summer - but before that we need to adopt some sort of plan on the field and some of our big players need to start showing up a lot more (Cisse, Jonas and Tiote principally). I still think 4-3-3 is the answer, personally, and the switch that would bring us the better balance of quality and success on the pitch, but if he has to revert to the 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 that served him so well early last season to get us winning again then I could just about stomach that. It's when we play the latter and we're still looking aimless and losing games that it becomes completely unpalatable.
-
I've expanded it because there was a lot more twaddle that followed. Hope he can turn it around, but as someone who has never been entirely sold on him in terms of his philosophy (think everyone now realises he talks a far better game than he plays) I'm not sure if we'll do it with pretty football if it does happen.

We scored first a lot Think they said on MOTD that it's been ages since we lost a game from a winning position. Can't remember exactly when it was.

Suppose this fits in here now. Was taken from a Swansea fan's chalkboard analysis. Thought it was interesting and showed his value to the team very nicely.

Aaron Hughes is absolutely fucking garbage.
