I was beginning to get jittery in all honesty, this has come at a very good time to pacify the nerves somewhat. Has more natural ability than the likes of Geremi and Butt, both of whom became acceptable under Keegan after looking as gash as anybody under Allardyce. He's lost that burst of pace, of course, but I still think he has enough about him to be useful here - still wouldn't shed a tear if we got a decent sum for him, though, as he's probably on huge wages.

Sabri Sarioglu - the Turkish #20. Has looked as good as Arda, if not better, in all the Turkey games I've seen in the Euro's. Set up the Turk's 2nd goal last night. Has he caught anyone else's eye? 23 years old, can play all the way up the right flank, is at Galatasaray. Looks to have a decent turn of pace and looks exceptional with the ball at his feet, could be one of interest?

Erm... there are only 5 English teams in it, man, and we're still 14th in Europe as far as the UEFA coefficients go, despite not being in Europe 2 out of the last 5 years. Had we been in Europe last season and got to the quarters of the UEFA, we could have been as high as 8th in Europe!

Same here, although things could change (started work last night). If there's still tickets to be had in a few weeks I'll probably get one - fancy a change of scenery more than anything within the ground. If I don't get a season ticket I'll still make most games thanks to general sale/knowing people who often have ST's to lend for a game and more away games than I've done in a season before.
