The sensible money was on things improving at the time, when he brought Keegan back I was on cloud nine along with most others, but then obviously the shit hit the fan. As stuff seems to be working rather well since the "Search" fix and the move to the upgraded server, we thought it probably a good idea to make a full backup of the entire Forum so that in case anything goes awry in the near future we have something to fall back on. It's just a precaution. Due to the size of the database (2gb) it obviously takes a fair bit of time to back-up, so I'm going to leave it running through the night again so as to not affect everyone too badly. You may get some variable loading times/some complete lock-ups as it gets really into the early hours, but hopefully nothing too major. The backup has been running for around 34 minutes now without any hitches. Basically just posting this so people know what the craic is if things go a little bit dodgy over the next few hours.

If only he could get a girl to repeat that.

Even if he's capable of just doing 15 minutes he'd be worth having on the bench as an option. Carroll is a bit of a wasted space anyway because you'd expect either Oba or Ameobi to be on the bench anyway and they'd always get the nod ahead of Big Andy if a change had to be made up top.

He'll have been training for over 2 weeks come the weekend, but with Carroll scoring for the Reserves last night I would actually be surprised to see him on the bench. PhysioRoom has him down for a return on Saturday and I've read a few bits and bobs in the papers/on the official site recently saying that it could be possible to have him back in contention come the "derby", but definitely no more than a bench appearance. He'll be chomping at the bit (ha!) to be involved for 'Boro, so suppose we'll see.
