Same here, although things could change (started work last night). If there's still tickets to be had in a few weeks I'll probably get one - fancy a change of scenery more than anything within the ground. If I don't get a season ticket I'll still make most games thanks to general sale/knowing people who often have ST's to lend for a game and more away games than I've done in a season before.

Right, first things first - the author. To my knowledge (based on what I've seen and heard from him), George Caulkin seems like one of the few hacks with any real quality to his writing, and he's often given a fairly even-handed view on our club, so I hope to high heaven that this story has substance to it and that his source is legitimate. I'd be disappointed if it wasn't, to be honest. Aside from that, there's not much in there a lot of us didn't already know or hadn't already perceived but it's interesting that a journalist has attempted to see through the bollocks and delve into the actual root of the situation at SJP. No attention-grabbing headlines, no crisis, no problems, just trying to lay down exactly what the craic is with regards to people's roles and potential player recruitment. It's a canny read, really, though I understand it's no substitute for actual signings!

I'd like to if I'm honest. I'm hoping to get to the majority of away games next season but it may be difficult for everyone to get tickets to be able to run a coach. I was thinking of leaving away games for this season and think about using the coach for away games the following season. As it stands, it's looking hard enough to get numbers for home games so away games will be on the back of my mind for the time being. Fair enough mate, i guess when the bus is just starting up is easier to concentrate on home games first and foremost! Can't wait for the season to start now like, me and me uncle usually have a good laugh on the way up but going to be awesome on a coach! Am sure there will be more people getting on for the Bolton game like, really hope it catches on properly! Me too. I think it will be brilliant if we can get it up and running. At this minute, it's in the balance unfortunately. I'm confident it can happen, but we need the numbers and I'm running out of ways to spread the word. Hopefully after the first few trips, everyone will really enjoy it and pass the word on that way. If people hear that it has been successful, they may want to sample it for themselves. Once we've chosen the route and pick up points on Sunday I'll post it on here. If there are any issues with the route or pick up points, we will amend it and then a final route and pick up points will be confirmed that will not change unless something drastic happens to result in it needing to be changed. I'll then start taking names for the Bolton game. Im thinking that a few people will wait till maybe October, to see if the coach has caught on like to sign up for it. Just so they know its worhtwhile and that, and like you said, if the coach makes a succesful first few home games, im sure the word will spread and more people will follow. I wouldnt mind paying a little extra to start with in the hope it does catch on like, sure other people, at first wouldnt mind either. Was gonna say tho, is there ay chance, if we cant get the numbers, of the driver being able to aquire a minibus for it? Obviously this is last chance scenario, but it could be a good idea if we're having trouble filling the coach or something! Hopefully it won't come to that, but I have thought about it. I rang him today to see if he could maybe sort a 30 seater out but the company he works for only does 49 and 51 seaters. I think at first it may be a little more expensive, but like you've said, I won't mind paying the extra either to be honest. At the end of the day, it will still be a hell of a lot cheaper than driving, and more enjoyable too. I think you're also right about people maybe waiting to see how it goes before deciding if they want to come on the coach for themselves. Another point is the lads who are coming to Hull Uni; they might not be getting down here until late August or early September. Term starts September 28th I think, so it'll be late September at best for the students.

Inler looked a cut above for Switzerland, like, same with Daniel Niculae for Romania.

I think he'd start a fight with a tank, personally. No guns, no nothing, just start kicking away at it until it annihilates him. I could see him taking on an aircraft carrier, actually.

Back now apparently, if you're being serious. Otherwise, two weeks.

Hope he stays (fit).

That one never gets old, does it? I think it just about did. Never!

Thought I'd add some wood to the bonfire.

Wouldn't believe anything he says like. Probably about as trustworthy as the Daily Mail.

Willie McKay saying we haven't had a bid rejected, according to La Journale.

Must have been fucking tiny, then: http://www.yfh45.dial.pipex.com/newcast10.jpg

Or our supposed Arshavin bid, as there is a deadline set to that one? Keegan would have had to break off from the Californian leg for that. Terry Mac wasn't there so wouldn't know. Are you telling me Terry and Kev don't phone each other every day and have girly 3-hour chats? If so, I'm calling you a LIAR!

Advertising boards behind & along the sidelines is enough. I'm prepared to accept that Ashley will ultimately use the club & and the ground as an advertising mule for his other business interests, as i'm of the opinion that's one major reason as to why he bought the club ie. an EPL-status club selling his brand name is naturally advantagous to his business interests. He bought the club and he's going to milk the club's advertising power for every penny it's worth, that's his right. But to rip down the club badge, in preference to blatant self-promotion/selling his company brand name, borders on sacriledge imo. That's carrying the notion of company promotion too far. As far as I remember, there wasn't a club badge where the SD logo is now. Still doesn't change the fact it looks rank, though.

Two goals in two games (from midfield) at the highest level in his first major championship isn't "pulling up trees"? We've got some high standards on here sometimes!

So Lampards certainly gone then. I'd be happy with that if i was a chelsea fan! In the same way that Arsenal fans would be happy if Fabregas leaves? Fucking hell, almost 3 days! Slacking off.
