I beleive Bendtner could turn out great in a club like Newcastle. Perfect lone striker with Jonas, Ben Arfa and Zoggy as attacking mids behind him.

based on what? Im swedish and have seen him play many times and I have never ever been impressed. I also think that its rather telling that Monchengladbach is the only club he can find as a bosman. He has surely been seen by scouts in both international and CL games.

He's a record of playing fairly attractive football, buying players who increase in value, Premiership experience and generally pretty likable. Be an interesting move. And getting worse results than Steve Bruce. Come on, he hasnt got any quality to work with at Wigan. Did great at Swansea. Could be a great manager. Good move by Villa if they manage to get him. Hopefully this doesn't mean Zog is set for Villa...

Why is this even a matter roght now. 2 years left on the contract and will be 31 when that contract expires. I definately hope gradually during his last two years he will be used more as a valuable squad player anyways...

If we manage to pull off a few of theese incredible signings quite soon it would probably give us leverage and we might be perceived as a more attractive club for other players. Getting som great bosmans in at the end of the summer.

Villa, Rooney, Van Persie aren't especially tall and they do well as lone striker. It all comes down to what kind of football we are going to play. Hes definately no Carroll...

Is Zoggy only considered to be a attacking winger now or is he still used as a versatile player? I remember him doing brilliantly for us as defensive central midfielder at Stamford Bridge. I suppose thoug, being our left back was one of the reasons he got frustrated here. But I can se him as a great box to box central midfielder.

I really like what I see in Gameiro though I would be careful buying someone who prefers to go to other clubs/leagues .

I've actually always said this. Coloccini took most of the stick because of his proce tag when Bassong was equally as bad at times, but took no stick because he was so cheap. Still think with time they could have been a class partnership though. Im not at all convinced that Bassong is a player good enough for NUFC. He is like you say very overrated by the NUFC-fans. He coost Spurs quite a few points this year. Not good enough for Spurs, definately not good enough for us.
