No way we are spending £230m in one window Logic on Ekitike is we moved for him Liverpool wanted him & Isak it’s that simple. they decided to cut our legs off for Ekitike and are still going after Isak. It’s not gone how we planned but can you imagine the optics if we bowed down to Liverpool and said ok you win take Isak. They would also hold all the cards on price if we allowed that isak threw a fit way before we turned down Liverpool

i think he was intended as an Isak replacement. I gave my theory on that last night

Agreed but pretty much every source said Šeško would have been viewed as an Isak replacement but it’s pointless discussing it as you don’t appear to believe the sources which is fine

again, I’m just looking at it logically if we don’t intent to sell Isak or don’t think Liverpool can afford it why are we spending 3 weeks trying to sign his replacement

I’ve already addressed most of this. We’ve told Liverpool he’s not for sale unless there is a replacement and I suspect there’s no amount of pressure from Liverpool or huffing and stropping from Isak that would change that. I’ll go as far as saying letting Isak go with no replacement is enough grounds for Howe to consider his position

No they’ll force the issue towards the end of the window not now when we are trying to sign a replacement. If we do sign say Jackson I’d bet good money Liverpool bid within 24 hours

Wasn’t intended to be. We are unaware of internal discussions. I do think it would be pretty foolish of Liverpool to bid this early when we’ve no replacement. If we go in to last week with no replacement I could see them bidding to force the issue. While we appear to be actively trying to find a replacement there’s no need for them to force it

Not everything that goes on is shared via twitter accounts and the media. There will absolutely be discussions between the clubs and I’m certain a fee has been discussed and I’m certain we’ve told Liverpool it’ll be a flat out no unless we have a replacement.

Because I think they will. As soon as we get a replacement in they will bid. Does not matter what angle I look at this whole thing at it always comes back to..why are we trying so hard and wasting so much time in this window for Isak’s replacement? If we don’t think they’ll bid what we are willing to accept why are we bothering with Šeško and Jackson?

Agreed but we don’t need a striker to come off the bench for 20 mins we need a striker that will start games to ease the workload of Isak or whomever the striker is
