Gonna lose Isak at some point yes. Doesn’t have to be this window. Doesn’t have to be when we are scraping the barrel for Jackson. it’s absolutely embarrassing. Liverpool have absolutely played with us and now Chelsea are too.
-
id be happy buying Jackson as a project player- a Wilson replacement. As our main striker when the rat goes is just not worth thinking about
-
Realistically as an Isak replacement it’s gonna be Jackson, Ramos or Watkins and somehow we are going for the worst one. Bet Chelsea can’t believe their luck. Mind PIF love doing them favours
-
See this if Howe thinks he’s the one line. Doesn’t really work when he’s the 8th choice striker
-
Tbf it appears the decision makers aren’t much better
-
I mean there must be. I’m not having that there are only 7 top class strikers in world football. Even if they somehow is the case Isak just can’t be allowed to go. Why are we contemplating spending minimum £60m on Jackson to facilitate Isak going? unless we need the Isak money
-
Can I just add I don’t give a fuck what price Jackson is he could be £80m & he could be £5m he’s a serious fuckin downgrade on Isak. Tho It will be nearer £80m than £5m.

Jackson has become the secret joke amongst online fanbases. Everyone laughing amongst themselves at which club is gonna be the one that is left to pick him up. Of course it’s us
-
Haha good way to look at it
-
Jackson is the higher quality. stop laughing
-
if we sell Isak and buy Jackson then I’m out. The final humiliation
-
We don’t appear to have scouted any
-
Coz they want both and will likely get both. As much as they are cunts they’ve played this perfectly isak has checked out. I’ll be amazed if we dont land on someone and ‘reluctantly’ let him leave
-
I don’t believe that. I think Isak wanting out since last season fits with them trying to find a replacement. Isak only spat the dummy publically when Ekitike signed for Liverpool. We’ve spent half the window trying to replace Isak. Why? I also don’t believe we have the capacity to spend the amounts on Ekitike without an Isak sale. Nothing we’ve done suggests other wise. All big bids have been on a forward. We haggled for a few million for Trafford for a year, we don’t appear to want to spend over £40m on a defender and even less on a midfielder.
-
If you believe the Athletic etc we knew Isak wanted out for months maybe the plan was buy Ekitike and sell Isak. I’m not buying for one minute we wanted both at same time. Same with Pedro. we appear to have bent ourselves double trying to facilitate Isak leaving to the detriment of our window. It’s very strange

Just seems weird to me every link we seem to be going cheap. Ramsdale we went for a cheap loan. Thaiw is the cheapest defender we’ve been linked to and McGinn would be a fairy cheap longstaff replacement.
-
We were only stumping up 80 million on Sesko because Isak was likely out the door.

Do we actually have money to spend? I know we should have
