  1. Absolutely agree. I'd be screaming at the TV when he was hoofing it every single goal kick etc, previously in the season. I definitely can see the changes already, and it's only going to get better from here on out as well! And to be fair, this Bolton side was about as negative as it gets in football. Completely awful to watch, and I hope to god they go down. That said, they came here for a draw, and they got it, so fair play to them. Fucking cunts...

    Titus Bramble

This. Comparing them two is ridiculous, Rozenhal has looked miles more consistent than Bramble ever did for us. Even if it's consistently average it's better than having a howler once per game like Bramble.
  3. Agree entirely with that summing up. I second that, and raise you a shite ref. Utter tosspot, just like Bolton who managed to timewaste from the first fucking minute. Baffling.
  4. Probably. Then again, Owen didn't slate Allardyce in his book, did he?
  5. Cacapa really should've cleared it instead of playing it short to Enrique, tbf. But yeah, spot on about his kicking, it's woeful at times.
  6. Only a handful seem good enough at this point. A few more might be good enough for a place in the squad, and another few might improve slightly to make it as squad-players as well. I only really noticed today how much of a waste Owen seems. He's got less than average pace and acceleration now, and he's not at all good with his back turned towards goal. That basically leaves us with a player who is only good in the box, and he even showed today that he's not very good at that either! Inspiring however, to watch Enrique and N'Zogbia, and Taylor as well I guess. Those are basically the only three players I hope won't leave this season, or in the summer.
  7. Good: Given, Enrique, N'Zogbia Bad: Everyone else really? To be fair, he did have quite a few good saves, but this match really outlined how inept he is at kicking the ball under any sort of pressure at all.
  8. Fair enough. And I agree with you completely, we need a manager of better quality than the averages of Premier League, if we are to aspire to something greater than being average, obviously. I was more curious as to which specific names you had in mind, though, in the mould of Ramos et al.
  9. I'm sure Redknapp has had more to spend during his time at Portsmouth than Allardyce had at Bolton, but I cba looking up any numbers on it. Point being, it's a comparison that makes me think he won't succeed, if he is to be appointed. Redknapp is no more guarantee for good big name/big cash-signings than Allardyce was, is he?

    Media Twaddle

Spot on. The most amazing thing is that people actually buy into it. Not sure if they (the fans) can be blamed tho, I'm assuming a rather large portion of the fans have only those papers (meaning: not teh intarweb) as their source for news about the club.
  11. You realise what you're saying here?
  12. Out of curiousity, which managers would you be happy with? Not defending anyone or anything here, I'm just genuinely interested in your opinion.
  13. Snatched from another thread: Maybe Ashley is just doing 'Arry a favor, seeing as they're apparently best pals. I'd honestly be absolutely gutted if it was 'Arry. Really.
  14. Seeing as he's actually for sale, apparently, I doubt it would be any higher than £5m. But do you really think we'd get that much for Ameobi? I'd jump at the chance to offload him for half that!
  15. I honestly think he still can be unreal for us. Owen that is. Or well, not unreal, but definitely a 15+ goals a season-striker. We're just not playing even remotely to his strengths, and he looks so infuriatingly disinterested. I'm sure if we had a more confident side, and a winning streak under our belt, he'd be several times the player he looks like now. That said, I would probably snap the hand off any bidder, if it meant we could replace him with Defoe for a reasonable price.
  16. I agree with this. Pace being the key here, really. I think he's more likely to carve out chances for himself than Martins is, and probably Owen at this moment in time.
  17. Couldn't find this anywhere else. From skysports: Defoe for sale: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3030188,00.html Savage to Derby: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3030494,00.html
  18. Oh, right. Just assumed from the posts in here. Annoying anyhow.
  19. I keep picturing him as Sid Hudgens from the movie L.A. Confidential; "off the record, on the QT, and very hush hush!". Slippery twat. What happened to this thread, by the way? The OP has nothing to do with Anal anarl.

    Ben Haim

I think Allardyce at one point said he'd like 2 players for every position on the field..? 2 CB spots, 4 players, makes sense to me. edit: Actually it doesn't, my math just sucks. Oh well, Rozenhal sucks anyway, apparently.
