Absolutely spot on with that last paragraph.
  2. Aw, come on, don't be a baƧtard. He's just trying to enlighten people
  3. Gotta love a good slide-tackle to the face.
  4. Building for the short term, which is exactly what we need. A good foundation to build on, and experienced professionals who can teach the younger players the ropes of the premiership. It excites me more and more for every day that passes, to be honest.
  5. I agree. I actually felt really dirty a split second just looking at my screen
  6. Voted 9th. I like pleasant 'surprises'.
  7. what did he say?? Spoke t'gaffa, told us, striker, run t'box and head it in. Hahah
  8. Am I alone thinking Martins should've had that penalty? Regardless of it being accidental or not, the keeper did clip his heel, which caused him to stumble - at least that's my take on it.
  9. Gotta love his attitude; "I'll play anywhere, to be honest".
  10. Milner really is everywhere, it seems. Cracking player, tbh.

Did anyone see Sneijder's strike? Commentators said he just signed a new contract for Ajax, so apparently he's not going anywhere this season. It's Ajax - Atletico Madrid on skysports1, by the way.
  12. Don't think he'd reach it even if he did go for the rebound. But you'd want to see players go for it anyway - sums up Dyer's character quite nicely though, I have to say.
  13. Sure it was booing? Sounded like "shoooooot" to me, tbh.
  14. I've started to get the feeling that we may actually create something every time Milner gets the ball. He's looked a threat today.
  15. I'd imagine Milner would be useful on the left when we're sitting back and going for counter-attacks, as crosses into the box is rather useless when we're likely to have only one player on the receiving end of them. He's got a great shot, with both feet, and at times looks to be able to create something out of nothing. Will be exciting to see how he's utilized this season, definitely.
  16. And even tho it's just a friendly, Liverpool hasn't looked bad. Linked well between midfield and attack, Babel looking quite quick and plays well with the ball at his feet. At least they haven't created alot going forward, bar the one on one by O'Neill.
  17. Aw, you beat me to it, even.
