I'd imagine Milner would be useful on the left when we're sitting back and going for counter-attacks, as crosses into the box is rather useless when we're likely to have only one player on the receiving end of them. He's got a great shot, with both feet, and at times looks to be able to create something out of nothing. Will be exciting to see how he's utilized this season, definitely.

And even tho it's just a friendly, Liverpool hasn't looked bad. Linked well between midfield and attack, Babel looking quite quick and plays well with the ball at his feet. At least they haven't created alot going forward, bar the one on one by O'Neill.
