If you see the info from the screen grab you're eligible. I attended all my games last season with a mate who booked them on his membership, the screen is blank for me when i click season ticket or home tickets.
-
Current ST holders are eligible for an extra. ’the club has put additional seats on sale to fans who have bought a season ticket, single match ticket or membership at any point since 1st July 2019.’
-
Unsurprisingly the attempt to limit eligibility will be shafting people. If you attended every game this season with a mate who booked both tickets through a membership… you aren’t eligible. If you bought one ticket since 2019 you are eligible. Daft.

The stats being quoted were from 2021, bruceball era.

It’s difficult to compare from separate boxes in that stats graph (ie. De Gea to Darlow). You could argue quality of the shots faced on the ‘quiet’ side would be from higher quality opposition who manage to break down a superior defence and therefore more difficult to save. Then again you could just as easily say the shots faced on the ‘busy’ side would be more clear cut due to an inferior defence and therefore more difficult to save. Statistics, eh? Just to come full circle I think a direct comparison between Dubravka and Pope holds some merit as they’ve played in comparable teams.

£10m for a moderate upgrade at first choice keeper and, in turn, a significant upgrade at second choice is fantastic business.
-
All the other teams in the league will improve. Standing still is going backwards, not bringing anyone in would be a disaster imo. Edit: just re-read and think I may have misunderstood your comment. You mean bringing a few in after the season starts is fine?

Joelinton and Howe said when asked about it ‘we’d rather keep those sort of targets within the group’ or words to that effect.
-
I'd be gutted to see Paqueta go elsewhere in the Prem.
-
He looks rapid in that photo.

Wilson wanted to vote for himself as well
-
Oh well. My only interest in the sponsor is how much it allows us to spend on transfers. We can still have a good window this summer and use any sponsorship boost next season to continue spending.
-
If the buy out is less than £3.5m it makes complete sense.
-
I think Wilson will start the first game up top. He’d want away to start elsewhere with all his talk of getting into the England team for the WC. He wouldn’t be moving his family up here if he’d been told we’re in for a first choice ahead of him.
-
Too early in the morning for me to wrap my head around this. Assume it's a joke gone over my head.
-
Ake is probably the best of the ex Howe players we’ve been linked with.
-
Weirdly specific, hoping it’s bullshit.
-
I’m not convinced we’ll sign anyone who’ll expect to start up top every game ahead of Wilson. I think they might ‘gamble’ on Wilson and sign more of an understudy (Ekitike type) as well as look to provide cover from one of the other positions we move for (eg a RW who can also play up top). We’re in the unfortunate position where Wilson is one of our few players with the quality to take us to the next level…but he’s potentially not going to available for a decent chunk of the season.
-
If this were the case then I think the RW would also need to capable of playing up top to cover for Wilson.
-
You'd have to be pretty dense to think they haven't.
-
Where's this coming from?
-
Wow what a stadium that looks to be.

If the 600m figure is anywhere near accurate (before any increases in revenue through improved sponsorship) it seems pretty reasonable to me to spend 1/4 or even 1/3 of that up front in the first big window. Leaves plenty of wiggle room for the future. There’s an athletic interview with Staveley Ghodoussi where they state the only limit on spending will be FFP. You can add another limit with Eddie’s desire to keep the group mentality but we’ve got as much money as we need to spend within those 2 limiting factors! I guess £150m.

They may even be delaying the announcement of a new sponsor in order to get some signings over the line while we are still constrained by the current finances.
