Will you shut the fuck up about '99. We don't care.

Almunia does that on Sat and it goes in. VdS does it and deflects wide......... GOAL

Palace 1-0 up which is good for us as West Brom go to both of these 2 and a win for Watford tonight would leave Palace 7 points behind, with Watford having a game in hand, and basically relegate Palace (and Plymouth).

Saturday - Reward for the away fans that've been shafted all season by having games moved. Also hope we clinch the title away at Plymouth for the same reason. Party for the trophy against Ipswich and then just drinking at QPR.

Six good reasons to hate newcastle by Notts Forrest Fans

20k for their league game on Saturday says enough. Oh that and Scabs. -
Makes Phil Brown look slighty less Orange. Only slighty mind.

Smogs having a shite crowd is nowt new but i'm sure SSN just said there were only 20k at Forest tonight.

Damn thats a Premiership season played already. I'd take that in the Premier League next season. Or even just over half of it.

Thats just speculative bollocks, anyone could write that Not just anyone, you have to be quite the racist to get something published in the Mail. Or write about Diana.

Thats just speculative bollocks, anyone could write that Anyone who doesn't know anything about what really happened.

Seems strange that if its all over the papers that SSN haven't picked up on it yet as the early editions will be out by now.....

After drawing today Coventry can be added to the list

I think, if my logic is correct, I'm right in saying it would be 24 needed if we beat Forest (including the 3 from beating them) as that will be three points they can't get. IF Forest lose tonight and IF we beat them we'd only need another 13 (16 in total) points to finish above them. However that would bring into play the teams below Forest who could still catch us.

It was that badly organised that you could go to the back of the cordon, exit quite calmly to the right, walk past everyone else and continue walking the way they'd have taken you. Years of experiencing inept policing at football works both ways.

Its probably just me but seeing Fulham playing Juve and knowing its 7 years since being in the San Siro is making me realise how bad the management of our club has been in the intervening period for us to have fallen so far.

The one in Metz was that kit but didn't have a sponsor at all from memory EDIT: Memory was obviously not too affected by the cold http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/incoming/article7236.ece/BINARY/stitched_96_metz.pdf

Reading winning again is good news too. The further they are away from the drop zone, or better still safe, when we come to play them the better.
-
The.com table only indicates how low we could finish not which teams can finish below us. Its based on the worst case result being applied each time to maximise the number of teams above us rather than having a preference for who that is. Regardless we are safe.

Just noticed that the sky listings are showing a championship game on Monday 26th April. What price them putting us v Ipswich on then. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12942,00.html

The disgraceful moving of the Plymouth game creates its own parallels with the promotion season. That time our game a Grimsby was moved so it didn't clash with the Bank Holiday weekend in Cleethorpes (ffs!) and so with 3 games left we had to play midweek to clinch both promotion and the championship. That time we also still had to play a game in game on the Thursday against Oxford, so in fact had 2 games in game but seen to remember celebrating the mackems beating Portsmouth on the Saturday to set it all up. That night at Grimsby was fantastic and the other 14k there will agree and its such a shame that the potential for as many Mags as possible to be in Plymouth has been taken away.

I think that's missing the point somewhat. Any of the Sky kick off times would be preferable to this, even a Friday night, to allow fans to use some of the weekend for travel. There can be no justification for them to do this. Monday games should be reserved for local games for when the likes of North West, London or Midlands teams play each other. NOT for when fans have to make the longest journey in British senior football. Sadly nothing can be done against Sky but it'd be good for the club to make somekind of gesture and put the c.£80k fee toward subsidised travel or offset the ticket price.

Front Number, not sponsor. Good point, well made.

Why the hell does the Portugal away kit have room for a sponsor?
