The bloke on BBC news 24, who used to be on Look North, read out an eye witness account from Daniel Dyer.
-
Key word in the statement is "conclude", which is positive compared to all the non progress reported in the past few weeks.
-
Clearly the delay over the weekend was Mike just waiting for the cheque to clear.

Newcastle have always designated Wednesday as their midweek night and the mackems the Tuesday. Not sure the reason behind it though. Midweek games all used to be played on Wednesdays until the CL originally came along and so clubs moved to Tuesdays in the lower leagues to avoid clashes. When the CL got bigger the games spanned days through the week but most clubs left their 'day' as a Tuesday. Obviously we decided that we didn't have many floaters that would rather watch a game on the box. Same reason we play Hudderfield next Wednesday rather than Tues wehen the majority of games are on.

Very True. Ignoring the game probably the best atmosphere i've even witnessed / heard.\

With no derby's this is one of their top games of the season. Its also their 1st home game, on the back of a winning away start, new manager, new signings and school hols too. Frankly pathetic.

Beat me to it - 105564 Ohio State v. Michigan earlier this year. Proper Football or that Gridiron lark?
-
Did anyone else notice the prick in the yellow t-shirt in the Holte end when that goal went in. Stood there giving it the arms wide 'aaaaaah' as the Rodelega shot rocketed in. Then sat back down really sheepishly.
-
How the fuck did the officials not see that!
-
Confirmed as Wednesday 26th with 7:45pm kick off.

Self proclaimed mag however i think. This story was reported weeks ago by SSN when he said he was leaving Watford but didn't say where, my guess was us once we'd sorted the mess. We've still not sorted the mess. Maybe he was one of Shearer's picks? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/watford/8159828.stm

I'll be there as will all the real supporters. And likely putting money in Ashley's pocket to extend the agony. Or putting it another way giving the club some more cash to spend on a player that you'll be demanding we buy. My main priority, and I think the priority of every "real supporter", is to see the back of Mike Ashley. My main priority is to support the team whoever the owner

Undoubtably i'll get laughed at for doing a 250 mile round trip for doing just that. I'll be there as will all the real supporters. And likely putting money in Ashley's pocket to extend the agony. Or putting it another way giving the club some more cash to spend on a player that you'll be demanding we buy.

Can i be the first to predict a mega-low attendance.
-
Would have prefered them away so i could go this time.

Cock.

Must be number 11
-
Wrong Are we 12?
-
Must be as Leicester are at home and Forest away. Makes no difference to us but might make some predictions above wrong already.
-
SSN. After the break. After they show all the goals, laugh at Scotland, round up the friendlies, talk about cricket, the golf at the weekend...
-
Have they not already done some pre-draw to decide who from the non-seeds are home and away?
-
Dutch fans just started singing 'One Bobby Robson' before the England fans joined in. Nice touch.
-
The lad next to me was the one who did the match report for them and must have decided that publishing their names wasn't too smart either. If there kids are retained then not releasing their names may just allow us to steal a march on another club interested in them.
-
The keeper looked very young and was certainly from the home nations and the defender was apparently from Holland though didn't look Dutch. Also young and possibly 17/18. Not even his team mates new the name of the latter and was called Ricky by Kenny Wharton.

Seeing the pic there was no way he was one of the trialists.
