Coach from train station to the ground should be unaffected but you never know. -
West Brom are bound to score yet. They're due a pen cos they'not had one for games.
-
Absolute screamer from Lyon to take the lead.

Are Colchester winning?

SoL is truely impressive and i'm a Jambo rather than a hibbie by residence. There are a couple of fantastic clips of it being sung on YouTube the latest being after the won the (diddy) league cup against Killie. Think it started for them at half time in a match against AEK years back which apparently scared the opposition into defeat, or so they say. Boy could we use something like that.

Can't be either. Following Watford is an international week and after Barnsley they are due to play Derby. My guess would be the midweek after Blackpool before Plymouth. -

And will now be postponed again... Unless they decide to move the replay which i can't see happening. Cock -
Wonder what Robbie Savage made of Nani's red card fpr a 2 footed lunge. I can just imagine saying "there is no consistency in football these days. I did one of those last night and didn't get sent off." Dirty twat.

Actually, Dave's seen the pen and reckoned it WAS a pen Pen it may have been but they got a throw given to them in the build up to their 1st that was never theirs and then instead of playing advantage when Routledge was fouled he blew up and recovered to cross for Carroll to score. Terrible refereeing stopping it going to 1-1. Also the ref ignored the penalty and instead waited for the other linesman to give it.

Derby County Vs Newcastle United - Tues 9th Feb - 19:45 KO

Depends which pub you're in but admit it does seen quieter. It is a shitty midweek though. -
They're called Bayer Leverkusen by the way... nothing to do with "Bayern" (bavaria) I know only one letter, but still But I think more of Schalke. Came close to win the title few years back, great fans as well. And maybe even Hamburg, also coming close to win the title in recent years and buying "great" players like Van der Vaart and now even past-players like RvN. So they are also a bit similar to us imo. Bayer are nothing like us. They're a recent intruder in German football built on the back of the industrial pharmaceutical giant and Bankrolled accordingly. No great fanbase until recently either. More akin to the Smogs.

Maybe as far as winning anything, but the've never even been close (so no tragic failure... just failure) - also the Cubs are the affluent and very white northern-suburban demographic of Chicago which is also a two team town... the demographics kill the compason for me. That said I can't think of any other baseball team that would be a better fit... but I've never been a fan. Their instant ability to shoot themselves in the foot ties that knot with us though. The Bartman incident just tipifies if. Instantly that link was why I chose to follow them. The Browns in NFL have that same skill at falling over the line too though that may be all Cleveland franchises. Hearts were an idenikit of us having not won anything since the 50s either but went an ruined that on the same day we lost the 1st cup final by winning the Scottish Cup. Their implosion since is very us.

What the fuck was that singing bit about... Just get on with it.

One game you have missed and regretted it ever since

This Had seen most of the games in the run including the cup defeat at Chelsea the week before but had a work Christmas do and had to go to that instead. Didn't stop me watching on Sky and going beserk on goals 2 and 3. Not sure he's ever seen me in the same light since. Likewise Feyernoord away i was supposed to be at a conference and couldn't get out of it so didn't book up then they cancelled it but it was too late to in. Gutted for not being there. -
Anyone just watched SSN who can tell me why that policeman was being interviewed at Stoke? In a pub and can see the pictures but not hear the sound. Looked quite serious as he was on for ages . serious

Better get a new manager then or at least get him to change his tactics.

Doubt there'll be cash turnstyles in case a load of them have travelled without tickets. -
3-0 final score. All home games have to be played at the main home ground rather than reserve or youth pitches. Think we were drawn home so yes it'd be at SJP.

I see nothing wrong in building a squad built up of players who in all reality will be worth the same or more based given we've signed them for less than market value due to freedom of contract etc. If we need to sell them on because they not make the grade with us if we get promted, then they'll drop to the level we bought them from, or we might get 2 years of football out of them and money well spent. We, and a lot of other clubs, need to realise the days of daft money on big-name no-output players are over. What we seem to be doing is strengthening the team / squad without any financial risk.

Newcastle are the 3rd best supported team in Scotland

http://www.robertwilson.talktalk.net/ScottishMags/1-awardgallery-POTYA.html Hopefully their player of the year this season will be Coloccini. The last 4 MOTS awards have all left within 18 months. Bassong the shortest at a few weeks and Milner the longest. Parker and Habib the others so we'll be happily swayed to generously award this years to Shola, Butt etc.... EDIT: Just to clarify Terry Mac didn't win but Scotty P had glanjular fevel at the time -

Reading have rearranged their game with Derby, from 5th round day, to 9th March which suggests the back up date, should their 5th round go to a replay is the 2nd March. Wish they'd just move it to then and then we'd know it was all fixed up without hving to wait another 3 weeks. EDIT - Just seen that despite there being weekend league games its an international midweek, with U-21 qualifiers, so guess that won't be the back-up date. -
Can you honestly see 3 of Portsmouth, Hull,Burnley,Bolton,Wigan, wolves finishing above them because i certainly dont Sure I heard that several imes last season relating to us and look what happened.

Considering QPR gave us one of if not the hardest home game this season, their managerial situation must really be knackering them up. Either that or Forest are really good.
