  1. Very True. The 2 that year were great but i prefer the silver Euro one. I've got the long sleeve version which looks more like a leisure top than an away kit.
  2. Don't see that as an issue at all. Would have had the same dilemma if we'd signed Andy Cole, complete pr1ck, but a Toon player is a Toon player.
  3. Shearer should keep his nose out. Big Sam is the boss and if Shearer wants to be in a position to make comments and judgements like that he should come clean on aspiration of being the manager himself. Frankly if its in the best interests of the team for Bellamy to be in it and Big Sam wants that then my opinion and Al opinion remain just that....OPINIONS. Sam is the only person who can turn his opions into actions.
  4. I mentioned this when it was confirmed he'd taken over. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=40132 Not changed my view either. Too many people rely on the BBC not to mention the fact that BBC Newcastle pay the club for Radio commentary. Not so much bothered by national BBC although it'd be a travesty if we have to put up with assistants on MOTD. Drop it Sam.
  5. They won't get it... not being able to read and all that.
  6. Have you seen this from .com Turking the p*ss Under the headline "Turkish Fans Say: 'You're Signing A Star'", the official smoggy site has published a number of emails allegedly from Fenerbahce fans about new signing Tuncay Sanli, including: "I have heard you have signed Fenerbahce captain Tuncay Sanli," wrote Ufuk Cihan. "If it's true Boro made the transfer of the year. "He is a spectacular young player. I'm honestly jealous because I'm a Newcastle fan. He is Turkey's best player and one of the best players I have ever seen." Ufuk Cihan? That sounds very iffy, especially when said quickly in a dodgy accent. Did the Ottoman empire really get as far as Tyneside? Currently trying to avoid having to tell my workmates why i'm laughing so much mackems.gif
  7. For some reason though in the Toon Cult Heroes book he's nowhere to be seen.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/reader/1905449038/ref=sib_dp_pt/202-7200958-7464666#reader-page MODS: If i'm not allowed this link then remove away
  8. If i knew how to take it from VHS to PC it'd be there !!!
  9. JM: Hey Sam... I can do invisible Juggling while having a man's head up my arse SA: Knob
  10. Indeed i was. My mate had seen us win every single game he'd ever been to, which was some going as we were mince at the time, so i bribed my brother not to go so my mate could have his ticket. I did it from Grimsby away the following season too. I dig out the video quite often....Ransom....Quinn....Kelly. CHAOS
  11. Saints goota score and its Idiakes or however you spell it
  12. Best took one like his namesake after a night on the pop. Wide. Derby Score
  13. Pens......Southampton for me now
  14. Aye I wouldn't go moaning to any Sheff Utd fans any time soon about how hard done by we are in that respect Esp given that he'd played for them earlier in the season
  15. Good to know its not just our old players that score against us
  16. No away goals after they changed the rules because the team finishing lower got an advantage of an extra 30 mins to score an away goal. Come on Derby, cracking trip, massive allocation
  17. Is that acceptable? Its not to me as i don't have Sky Sports so the BBC is the only way of hearing interviews. Do we want to see the "Terry Mac" equivilant wheeled out doing interviews, like Carlos Whocares is at the mancs
  18. Can anyone let me know if he's done any interviews with the BBC. Obviously with the Toon coverage in the region split to local ITV and BBC, and the only radio coverage from BBC Newcastle i think not speaking to them should now be an option.
  19. UK Ebay won't let you sell tickets for football events in Britain any more. I'm looking for some extra's so pm me if you've got any.
  20. Maybe its the passing of time but i just crave flair right now. He wasn't a put the ball in the net player to back up (and add to Les) and maybe that (well certainly was) what we needed. I think his positive contributions are now soured by the player we saw being outshined by Barnes and Rush at Goodison on his last appearance. That was an early warning of things to come, and what Keegan was takling about, where grotty teams like Bolton, Everton and Wigan have made teams think twice about having flair players. Tino could have been our C**tona with the right amount of instruction and time.
  21. I'd send him on a chuffing mission to Mars (not the factory as he's enjoy that too much).
  22. Agree but take a watch of the game at the smogs, Barca or even when he went mental at Citeh and tell me that didn't get the juices flowing. When was the last time (maybe Oba excepted) that happened. To win stuff, be it games or trophies you have to take chances, and Tino was our can opener. Unfortunately he was just too rusty.
  23. Fletcher took it too far but ultimately he tried to take us somewhere upwards. He got stuff wrong but at least he put himself there to be shot at. Fat Fred !!! What is his mission?
