Since he played the ball.

There's no way I'm boycotting a cake shop. The love's too strong. If he gets all the cakes for himself he wins.

He's gone down in my estimation playing right into the clubs s*** policy with this bollocks Well he has let's be honest here. Nothing stopping him from playing a full team and going for it today Aside from being 17th and players getting potentially injured? I think he'd rather we weren't relegated on his watch tbh. Playing a full team today isn't going to affect that man. I'd rather Rafa stopped throwing cup games despite saying he gets the club. Isnt going to affect players getting injured? How does that work in your mind?

Oh dear god. Glad you all got to pay Ashley money for the right to boo substitutions.
-
Not like he's going to say "aye he's fat" when they are trying desperately to get rid of the guy.
-
Newest twitter logic. "Ashley is actually trying to piss us off and make us cancel season tickets. If we do that then he'll win. I'm not going to let him win." People are fucking idiots.
-
Lazio fans seem bemused we're taking him off their hands. Might be the injury...
-
So are you saying he's Obafemi's brother?

Would you buy a new set of brake pads for your car if you had it listed on AutoTrader? No? Neither will mike. Well I probably would if I had listed my £1000 Toyota for 300 million.

Well this needs some explanation... The cost of relegation had always been borne by the club as those loans. So far the relegations have only hurt the club not him unfortunately. Well he owns the club as far as I know so how doesnt that hurt his investment in it? He wouldnt have been able to recover the loaned money if we hadnt got promoted. That's the point Kasper he always gambles we can be promoted and as we see today, slowly recoup his "loan" accordingly. It's why I believe it would take a sustained spell in the lower leagues to get rid of him. So he has lost money but has been able to recover it so far. No guarantees that will continue to be the case.

And I would wish people would stop getting on their soapbox's and pretending to be a better fan than another just because their opinion differs. And once again here's the standard response when there's nothing more to say.

Fine if you want to take your kid to the match, but don't fucking complain when others who have taken a harder stance criticize you for helping to fund Ashley after almost 12 years of complete trolling and mismanagement to fans. It's like the chants against Ashley on Saturday man, it's complete hypocrisy to the max. I'm not complaining. I'm trying to make you see possible reasons why people still go. If you, and others on here (you know who you are), don't appreciate the reasons and learn to accept them, then you'll never formulate an effective strategy for getting Ashley out. Because boycotts / walk ins etc are just never going to land with the vast majority of the fanbase. As I've previously said on here, get at Sports Direct. That's all he cares about. Don't think thats true. People just seem to have an incredibly high tolerance of being shat on by something they love. Doesnt mean that there isn't a limit though. Maybe... maybe things will change when Rafa goes, but if you're wanting to get as many people on board right now with forms of protest, affecting the matchday experience isn't going to be got behind, in my opinion. Sadly it's the only thing that will cause change and that's why it needs to be pushed. There's no concrete value in getting people behind some group or movement if those people arent willing to make the personal sacrifice to push him out. You think that's the only thing that'll work? Despite clear evidence that the big push on social media against Sports Direct and his brands was getting a reaction out of him? Had on a second here, didn't you say before that the Spurs boycott and protest had no effect on Ashley going on Sky and then allowing the club to spend £80m? But now there's clear evidence that the social media campaigns have worked? I think there's clear evidence that they were working and that he was reacting to them, yes. Because it was happening over a prolonged period of time. Sports Direct had to stop tweeting for 2 weeks for christ sake. That kind of thing is major to a business like his. The Spurs boycott was a one-off of people not showing up who had already paid, so yes, I don't necessarily think that had any correlation whatsoever with him happening to spend a bit of money several months later. Just listen to yourself. Making out that them not tweeting for TWO WEEKS is major and boycotting a game doesnt have an effect. For christ sake indeed. The lenghts people go to justify their actions is unreal.

I wish AS Roma Twitter account never existed and we'd be spared of all these cringeworthy copycats.

In addition a big push on social media is pretty hard work to maintain for a long period (say for one season) so they can rest assured it'll "blow over" and as much as we laughed at that it was always going to happen. Boycotting the match requires you to do literally nothing.

That was genuinely a good read HTT. Thanks.

I just think it's a lot easier to say don't go when you don't have a season ticket or are not doing it for a social day. I'm also a vegetarian btw Obviously. Like I said it’s harder for some for a lot of different reasons. None of this changes the fact that its the way to go if you want rid of him. Maybe dont buy a season ticket anymore, maybe organize something else for match days to have a day out. Habits are hard to break for sure.
-
That’s the thing isnt it. Cant skip a day out watching a miserable club for the long term gain of getting a better club and better days out. Should be easier for human mind to grasp than for example stopping eating meat so we still have a habitable planet in 500 years. Same idea though, kind of. Although in our case you’d still be able to enjoy the rewards.
-
It’s not about who’s better. There is one way to get rid of him and everyone can do it. For others its easy for some its hard. For different reasons. If you go to games you’re one of the reasons Ashley is able to stay. That might be hurtful but its also true.

Morons. At least they are doing anti Ashley chants, it's an improvement from sitting there in silence like a zombie This always makes me laugh. What did you two do today do voice your dislike of Ashley?? Said it many times before, I go to the match with my son and enjoy the day. Having said that I will take part in any organised protest as I want the FCB gone. The idea that voicing your dislike at the ground is worth something compared to not going at all is flawed. People just arent prepared to make a personal sacrifice to force change and that’s a pity. Maybe after 10 more years of the same, maybe not. Short ”enjoyment” for years of apathy. And dont kid yourselfs thinking that boycotting would be useless. It’s the only useful thing you can do. Completely prepared to take shit from anyone saying i dont even live in the country. That’s fair enough. I dont need to make that decision but I’m gonna say it now and in the future regardless.
