  1. Probably 3rd or 4th best defence in the league. Lot of goals scored in that CB pairing.
  2. Rooting around the bottom of that bargain bin....
  3. Going after Messi, CRonaldo and the President of the Spanish FA - your authorities don't play favourites!!
  4. Of the many, many problems I have with the current loan system - this is the biggest. Being able to loan vast quantities of players (Chelsea certainly) out to take points off your competitors is denigrating the increasingly sketchy fairness of competition.
  5. Feeling pretty optimistic about the season. 19th.
  6. Think we might need to revise some of the options in the poll, like
  7. Man City players are a double-edged sword. At £8m B.Silva should be a ridiculous bargain, but he's competing with D.Silva, Sane, Sterling, KDB, Aguero, Jesus not just for goals and assists,... but minutes!
  8. He's worth way more tbf. If you start thinking of value in terms of "replacement cost", I find this crazy environment a bit more understandable.
  9. Seem pretty reasonable this year IMO. Much easier to pick a squad than the last few years.
  10. Aye, the last person in the first round of the snake draft will get the 333rd best player as their number one pick
  11. Quite happy with my autopick squad
  12. Think i need to renew it and everyone automatically gets put in.
  13. Would love if NUFC were in for Zouma. Guess we have more pressing needs, but still.
  14. Tbf, if you're Swansea, £50m is fair. Their squad is pretty thin on quality without him and attracting a quality player to Wales now with all the money flying about in the league in more fashionable areas like London and Manchester is a tough ask. Fair play to them
  15. Spurs want £200m for Kane, don't they? Or rather, they would only consider letting him go for that. Don't think Lukaku would thrive in a Mourinho set up unless his game comes along. Zlatan can do it because his off the ball awareness movement and technique are superb. Lukaku works best in a system where he is one of many attacking focal points. If Mourinho puts everyone else on "keeping it tight" duty and gives Lukaku plus, say, two other players the responsibility for nicking a goal - that's not a recipe for the consistent success required to win a title IMO.
