Well, I can understand why he's angry. He was doing such a good job here, he must be shocked.
  3. Stepping back, this has a very Walter White feel to it. Ashley doesn't deserve to escape relegation again. We're Pinkman'd to fuck over here.

If he gets the sack now, will he leave with a worse win record than Carver?

...Carver and Kinnear duo lined up to manage NUFC as nightwatchmen for the remainder of the season.
  7. Not yet. Don't blow your load.

Hope we get a chance to feel sorry for Palace this season.
  9. Not mongish. A bit North Korea though, for sure.

stoked I placed that bet So gutted The forum bet based on a wind-up is the one I don't get on. Mother fuuuu.... What were the odds? Did you not get on McClaren as the next manager to be sacked? Oh how they laughed. 16/1 is looking pretty tasty now *sigh* no I thought he was every bit as bulletproof as every other fucker who has slid the club firmly into the brown.

He's not getting abuse for not walking - he's just not getting sympathy for being "treated poorly". He probably doesn't need or want sympathy either. He knows the drill, this works out perfectly for him. Do a chronic job, another payoff, more free time and his next job is never too far away whenever his hair-island implant funds begin to deplete.

Kinnear for a third time would be immense He's the only man whose irreverence for the truth is on a par with Donald Trump, one for whom truth holds no weight or relevance. He knows people you wouldn't (and shouldn't) believe, he just phones whoever he wants, and let him tell you, he wins big.
  15. I always say that a manager should be judged by his league record because anyone can win a cup with the right draw and a couple of good performances. Benitez has proved himself extremely adept at getting to finals and winning trophies with his conservative style but less convinced by him over a league season. As for whether he can make a difference here within ten games, God knows. I don't think any manager can long term while Ashley remains. The key attribute in a manager, for a team that requires turning around in 10 games, is to be a good man-motivator IMO. There's more than enough talent in the squad to survive in this league of dross. Just need a manager who can make a decent core of players believe that they should back their talent with the attitude that it's not okay to be losers and have no professional pride. Quite difficult when that's the whole culture of the club though.

 Anyone who backed it kinda deserves it. Come on, man.

The last time there was a standout candidate it was effing mcclaren. What is standout to anyone with the slightest understanding of anything is entirely different to this bunch of incompetent yes men. They'll stick with the fool or get someone equally inept. Or prove me entirely wrong and get an exceptional manager in, not some journeyman who will divide the fanbase again. #wait
  18. Dude who stood to win £250k off Leicester winning the league cashed out....... before they faced NUFC at home. Crazy.
  19. Incidentally, not to start a logic-defying forum bet disaster, but Leicester -1 are at 6/4.
  20. Put them both in to win the league, as my only hunch was that I figured Chelsea wouldn't have the same appetite to win the league again.
  21. Could have cashed out a few weeks ago for £90. Thinking I should take what I can now given Leicester's freak juggernaut mode and Boro faltering at the finish line, also this is the first time they've given me the opportunity to cash out in ages. Thoughts? http://i.imgur.com/914bTUV.png
