Had him as vice, silly me.

Nigh on identical first half bumming as last season it is then.

It'd be fucking stupid if it was that second one, like. They're claiming it is the second option on the radio and not only that they're claiming that's how it has to be It makes sense if you apply Pardew logic, tbh. Remy is scoring goals, therefore play him through the middle so he can score goals. Just like with Sissoko last season. When he started scoring, Pardew tried to push him higher up the pitch off Cisse's shoulder. I'd leave him out wide myself.

Need a big game from Sissoko to link midfield and attack today.

Jelavic and Naismith dropped for Lukaku and McCarthy

Rooney offers a lot, don't get me wrong, and works for the team more but Suarez is the more creative for me.

At the end of GW6.

I'm a soft touch with late submissions and that because this is all just good fun, but for sheer stupidity rather than any question as to the integrity of the scores, you deserve a points deduction never mind a void gameweek score In theory, I wouldn't mind changes to a Monday/Sunday fixture for example, but it's a ballache, so for the purposes of some kind of fairness I'm going to accept your 2-1 (as I'm sure lots of people would otherwise want/would have wanted to change the Sunday/Monday predictions etc). In future, any edited posts will receive a zero for that week... and probably a points deduction for being a daftie

The latter isn't really a strike pairing though, is it? RVP is better than Sturridge in the 'finisher role', if we're forced to do comparisons, but Suarez will create a lot more than Rooney will going forward IMO. If I didn't loathe Suarez, I'd rather have the Liverpool pairing tbh.

Is it not fairly accepted truth that every set of fans has its morons? The prejudices we all have about clubs' fans based on our narrow interaction with whatever sample of them we happen to interact with is always bollocks, but it's part of the fun too, really. With the exception of Liverpool, of course, who are just majority lunatics no matter how many/few you happened to have met. They just are. Costanza seems an exception.

Chuffed for Arsenal doing so well, although the 'Wenger Out' campaigners should be forced to support Sunderland (cf my posts on the last page). In my head, giving Wenger money is cheating. It's the footballing equivalent of: He's just such a fucking good man-manager. Not just the Thierry Henrys, RvPs and Ramseys () but the Parlours and Walcotts too. He extracts near maximum value from his lot, whatever it may be, by getting them to play to his philosophy. His coat is fucking hilarious too.

To Suarez or stick with Sturridge or get both (lotsa eggs in one basket)?
-
Didn't eh end up with by the far most points though? Not sure about him this season, but last season he was an excellent pick. It was about a goal a game IIRC, but for the money you're paying, the money could be better spent across strikers/midfield etc IMO.
-
I agree with that of course, but I'm just saying that an even higher percentage of CL winning teams work as a team (whatever their philosophy is). I think that stretches even further to include the PL - I wouldn't say for example that Man Utd had the best collection of individuals last season but they had by far the best team.
-
That's bollocks too. World class used to mean good enough to get in a world XI, but I think having a team that plays together is more important to winning the CL. Bad portent he's scrambling for crap excuses in advance. Well, bad for them, joyous for everyone else.

Who fucked up at Sky on that one?
-
RvP rarely got a brace or more last season as I recall. He ain't worth it.
-
Annoyed Ramsey is so cheap. Had him before this run, but there's no barrier to entry to stop every bandwagon-jumpin' fecker getting him because he started so cheap.

Man Utd/Hull draw/Everton/Liverpool

Fair play - couldn't bring myself to have Suarez a while back because I used to have FF principles. Good haul for Terry Thought him too big a risk with increasing competition for him there at the Chelsea uber-squad.

Wash your mouth out with soap, Richard.

Yeah, can't see it happening. Like admitting money was wasted.
