Absolutely would, but I don't think it'd be achieved by going out there and playing for just the one - as the Liverpool game emphatically demonstrated.

Is this written on the basis of "how can our humiliations be deepened further? And if so, how can I mitigate my pain with financial solace...?"

The most worrying thing is the percentage of Season ticket holders that also have s--t for brains... I cannot believe Pardew got no mass expressions of discontent on Saturday - it looks to me as if NUFC fans have been totally brow-beaten and brainwashed by the Dire Duo. Llambias should also be a target for removal. OP has the right idea, but it's a bit redundant asking "Pardew Out?" because as Mick says, only Lee Ryder/Shit-For-Brains (delete as applicable) want him kept. Next question ought to be: "Will you renew your season ticket if Pardew remains in charge (if you have one)? If you don't have one, do you intend to continue to go to matches until Pardew is replaced?" An easy question for some, but it's probably the only real fan consideration Ashley might bat an eyelid at.. Well I can answer that from my point of view. The club is not getting a penny from me until Pardew is sacked. If you've got a season ticket with direct debit, you're already paying for next year. In any case, I stayed during the Championship season and, if the worst comes to worst, I'll stay again. I see these kind of threats as little above hissy fits, to be honest. Support the club through thick and thin. You characterise the only form of impactful protest/power that fans have as being "little above hissy fits". Warra wanker.

De Gea aside, that's more or less spot-on. Mignolet should get it probably.

Yup, waiting for this rear to its daft head. Worthy of RTG. Edit: Just saw .com's effort - ugh.

I think it's probably 60/40 that we will go down right now. I expect Wigan to put in similar performances to their match vs Spurs - which they deserved to win. Injuries and fatigue with the Cup final won't be as much of a problem for them either I'd expect, as Martinez has instilled a philosophy and ethos about how they play which isn't based on specific personnel. They also look very hungry.

Could barely keep up tbh I winced updating the goalscorers bit in the actual OP, and realising how long was still left. (It's probably not that accurate mind). Strange thing to say after losing 6-0 at home, but we're lucky Liverpool didn't want to pummel us. They very easily could have got double figures against out watery, shapeless scramble of disparate bodies on the pitch.

Aye, this relegation threat popped up from nowhere like!* * - KIDDING, just in case you get your knickers in a twist I too am investing my hopes in the away games. One more win would do it. The tide has turned very quickly on Pardew (on the forum anyway). I guess being danger at the business end of the season/derby loss/massive defeats will do that though.

Minus bloomin' twenty-three goal difference. Still not over that. Astounding. That's almost as bad as Reading/QPR.
-
Looks like Pardew has organised his own defense. I set 'em up...
-
Madness (the odds, I mean). I got absolutely shite odds (4/1) ages ago.

Agree with OP. Fans may feel like voicing an opinion on an internet forum counts for nothing, but cumulatively, dissension all adds up IMO. Especially financial - such as Venkman's decision not to renew his season ticket if Pardew is manager next season.
-
That Nixon article was cringeworthy, and since he took it upon himself to talk on behalf of Newcastle, he deserves as much stick as he receives for doing so.

I couldn't remember the last time we got beat 5-0 at home never mind 6-0. Didn't Ray Parlour score a hattrick against us in a 5-0 win? Or was that at Highbury?
-
Probably (or hopefully, anyway) deliberating whether the £1m of compensation would definitely assure survival this season given how little time a new manager would have to work with the team. The raw materials are all there, but the replacement would have to be able to sort out the basics quickly/communicate to the players quickly and effectively/lift the morale and get everyone believing they're mostly international-standard players - which they are.

In Dubrovnik and if my cheap phone should accidentally lose battery and deny me access to the scores then so be it
-
That's been fucking glaringly obvious since November as far as I'm concerned. Thought the quality of the squad would just see us through above dross like Reading, QPR, Villa and Norwich but put money on us going down after we lost to Reading.
-
Feel the same. (cf my "nothing will wash away this shame" comment earlier)
-
Don't even pretend like you're not looking forward to it. The team will play better away from home probably. Hopefully scrape a draw and/or a win here and vs QPR (don't care about in which order) so that for the final home game the attendance can be 0. Maybe that will convince Ashley to sack the PR man in the summer and hire a football manager.

I'm gonna have to Google what that word means. She basically gobbled the silver haired lothario'd cunt. Probably only agreed to come out and do the interview if she asked the right questions. That Premier League experience question seemed like the biggest fucking set-up ever

Fans should stick with Pardew.
