Yeah, and it's ruined a good joke about people not understanding a simple off-side rule too. If anyone advanced beyond the last defender when the ball is played, offside.
-
Another rule I'd like to get rid of is the one where Alan Smith gets a yellow card just for playing football. Every time.

Agree. Needs doing away with.

Is it socially acceptable to call Balotelli a mong?

Quality goal! Fuck you Man UTd!

Smart selection by Wenger IMO. Don't want to risk RVP against Stoke or burning him out, and Chamakh is better in the air.
-
Aguero will be licking his lips at facing Evans, mind you.

Clichy over Kolarov

Man Utd - Citeh Over 2.5 goals Arsenal Stoke Over 2.5 goals Chelsea/Spurs double, too.

I dread the thought of anyone but Krul between the sticks now. He's such a game-saver with his shot-stopping ability. Especially since we always give away a few chances in the opening 30. I understand Harper/Elliot need to be kept alert in the event of anything happening to Krul - but I think that can happen in reserve fixtures and in training IMO. Krul Santon Perch Colo Ferguson Marv Abeid Gosling Loven HBA Shola [i think Pardew will pick Lovenkrands no matter what, so I'd rather put him out the way on the wing and let Marv further demonstrate (as though it were needed) what he can do on the right ahead of Obertan].

Completely depends on the situation. Sometimes it's not even a question of bottle - if a ball isn't an actual 50-50, there's not very much point going in sliding on your backside like Scott Parker. If we're thinking of the same incident, HBA wouldn't have made that ball first even if he had gone in full-blooded. Sometimes, yes, it's definitely worth going in and you deserve criticism if you withhold anything - but others it's better to maybe give the impression you're going in - but actually focus on reacting to where the ball will go and getting the second ball.

I really don't like the collective audible groans when we lose possession. It's so fucking exaggerated and stupid. If we're restless, it's likely to make the players anxious and revert to long-ball football to get goals quickly - which neither works or is suited to us. Even when we were just passing the ball around our back four, trying to tire out an impressively energetic and pressing Wigan front line - you could hear murmurs of discontent growing. Not to sound like a superfan, but I really can't stand those fans. The same type that blame every move breakdown on Jonas.
-
I disagree. Man Utd's defence isn't fantastic, and Man City have Barry (and if he plays, Clichy seems to struggle against top quality opposition too). Should be goals
-
Mass red cards for both sides - and City to win.
-
Colo (and sometimes Jonas) would win MOTM every week pretty much if we abandoned all expectations of what we know players to do for us and looked at it objectively.

He's 22 and shown glimpses of promise. Not a write off for me, not by a long shot. Not a starter for me either though. He has work to do.

Jonas man, Jonas man, does whatever Messi can Beats a man, just for fun Look oooout here comes Jonas man Vaguely to the tune of:

Liverpool have only one of the big three. Easy fixtures blah blah blah.
-
The streak is over.

Not to get too carried away, but really commendable attitude by Marveaux too. Good to see Done himself no harm at all.
-
His nose did look severely distended tbh. Well, at least he'll have a gentler day out next time out... against Blackburn and/or Stoke.
-
So conflicted. Need a Liverpool win to keep my accumulator alive, but would obviously love to see Norwich win/get something against them.
-
Glad he's got off the mark before it could become a "thing". Oh, Alan Smith...
-
Can everyone stop the pissy bitching and sniping, please. Stick to talking football. Thanks.

And Carroll slides down the order one more place
