Chelsea -5 is 6/5 Good odds IMO.

My bet is safe, pretty much. After 11 minutes.

Great roll off the shoulder and finish. Edit: Torres, that is.

Good game so far this Chelsea one.

You've been winning lately. They've got to do something. Desperate times for them. The equivalent of hell freezing over etc etc
-
Changed my mind about Porto, too.

FYP. Mata and Sturridge on the bench apparently. Hopefully convince bookies to revise Chelsea's odds down! Neil: it's just over1/2 - my stake is usually circa £100, but thinking of going bigger tonight.

Porto, Chelsea, Barca.

Rooney 2-0

I have a pound on a double of 2-2 in the Bayern game 1-3 in the Benfica game Both were 14-1 singles.

Yup. One of the biggest adjustments to playing in Europe is changing your style to legislate for even worse referees who will fall for every single dive

Penalty to Man Utd

Man Utd/Real Madrid double. Trying to stay relatively safe and prolong my Newcastle-esque betting start to the season. As usual, I advise everyone to stay away from midweek Championship football. It will fuck up your slip.

Ba, Raylor and VDV all got 3 bonus points. Not sure if their bonus points system could be any worse this season. Though they got it spot on last week, when the ref got 10 in the Liverpool derby. Game-changing play by the man in the middle.

Quite a balanced and fair assessment. Some funny errors too. Ba's headed goal and Defoe's viscous strike.

I quite like the line-up suggested by Cajun's post. One of my main concerns would be over Ba's fitness/effectiveness in a game if he had to drop back so much, so often and whether the system would shine too bright a light on our full backs. Interesting food for thought and definitely a good formation though IMO.

Doesn't make sense. They're talking as though our league placing is ahead of the Manchesters and Chelsea. Must be a little bit jarring for their darlings to be below us I suppose. Need to rationalise it somehow.

Always worry when Tiote plays good against big teams or in big games. Unlike Colo or Jonas, for some reason, I always perceive him as being eminently more poachable. Maybe it's an age thing.

If that was his line, that's quality. What a lad. Pardew seems to be devoid of negativity. He almost never says a bad word about anything. Rarely complains about decisions where other managers might. He's a good lad That's the one! That's the line. Fantastic.
