Could do with a heated derby today with lots of sending offs! Adebayor, VdV and Modric to get sent off.

"And Bent, as is so often the case, in the right place at the right time" Six yard box. All the time.

Al-Habsi fudging his save statistics with that 'combo save'. 1. Stop ball 2. "Get that shit outta here" swipe.

Yeah, I didn't want to say it, but it was good. You could see he a) knows what he's talking about when he talks about Carroll's type of play b) he cared about it Beyond that, pretty naff though

Dalglish - what a tosser.

Krul would've saved that

They should get to field 12 men against Chelsea.

Dave, it wasn't even a free kick, let alone a yellow or red.

Yeah, big credit to him for that. Very pleasantly surprised.

Welbeck reminds me of Gerald from Hey Arnold!.

Man Utd's defence man!

Most impressing thing about Balotelli - that he didn't throw a bitchfit

Yeah, not just brute force power. Just placed it.

It's harder to win games but still play classy football tbf to them. Created enough chances to win 200 points in those games.

Difficult to compare/rank CM partnerships in different formations.

biggest improvement......a philosophy of pass and move. It's important like but to go away and grind wins out you also need that strong work ethic and mentality. I wonder if selling the popular old guard has been the catalyst and brought everyone together. You've also added some much needed pace and youthful enthusiasm. It kinda reminds me of 10 years ago. We had an average team that finished 11th. We added some lightning pace and creativity in Robert and Bellamy and it totally transformed the team. This year we have Jonas, Obertan, Marveaux, Ben Arfa and Tiote who are all really quick whereas in previous years we've always had one of the slowest teams meaning teams could push up against us and pen us in. That double substitution will forever stay with me Then SBR's hilarious comments about Bellamy not being a magician or Jesus or something

haven't read every post on there (basically that page linked to) and they aren't going overboard about the pen and disallowed goal, mainly talking about the football as opposed to the decisions. can't say it would be the same on here. good on them! Yeah, seem like a really good bunch. The "" was because of the complimentary first post on that second page.

They haven't unsuspended the betting since it went in!

And Hamsik missed a penalty. Quiet half, all in all.

What are you talking about ? I answered... He means what position on the pitch. Wing, playmaker, off-the-striker etc...

A lot can happen between now and the Spurs game by way of injuries and what have you, but I'd field 4-2-3-1: Krul Raylor Colo Saylor Santon Cabaye Tiote Jonas Best Ben Arfa Ba My jusitifications I don't think we can get a win here without the quality Ben Arfa and Santon will bring to the side, basically. Furthermore, Spurs are a really good passing side and we'll have to work hard to get the ball back off them so I don't think we can afford to have Obertan - who seems very suspect defensively so far IMO. Transferring Gutierrez over will hopefully help Raylor out in this respect. Santon has Champions' League experience and I have no concerns throwing him into the "deep end". If he can do a job against Cronaldo, handling Aaron 'one foot' Lennon is not beyond his capabilities. It's not easy by any means, but I see no sense in all the hand-holding and coddling him - provided he is fit to play. In terms of attack, Best and Ba are both performing so well I can't see why we'd take them out of the side. Having multiple goal threats is vital in this league, especially against top opposition. I see the merit in having Marveaux in ahead of one of Best or Ba, but I just think that makes the remaining lone striker that much easier to pick up - because Ben Arfa will not be operating near the 6 yard box, but more as a playmaker. We're at home, and I think we'll do better if we're attacking and have them on the backfoot rather than inviting pressure on ourselves by being a little less ambitious. It's a good Tottenham side, but we're (more or less) full strength and whilst we should respect them I don't think we should fear them. It will require a high-octane, highly energetic performance to ensure we don't get exposed defensively but if we work hard to track back once we lose possession I think we can do it - provided they're not all knackered from the international break!

Oh yeah. Oh well. Only stuck a tenner on it after you said you were thinking about it.
