  1. Drogba is fucking woeful right now. Can't trap a ball!
  2. Big reason I wouldn't mind Wolves getting relegated
  3. Agree actually. Really good style.
  4. So: Carra - red Rafael - red Meireles - red & penalty?
  5. Know you don't personally advocate this, but that mentality is the epitome of bollocks IMO. Referees are either there to apply and enforce law, or not. They're not employed to increase the spectacle of a "big match".
  6. Nothing ever changes though. The FA won't amend Carragher's yellow to a red, and comments at half-time are water off a duck's back in terms of practical significance. What a load of horseshit this game can be sometimes!
  7. Suarez looked for so many opportunities to dive but nothing came in.
  8. Does it so often/consistently too.
  9. ManUSA are just as boring tbf. They're at least committing people forward when in possession.
  10. Oh my god, Liverpool are so boring.
  11. Ajax Liverpool to score £10 bet returns £24. Tempted.
  12. Oh brother. Please annihilate them, Ferguson. Berbatov, get six... beat Shearer/Defoe/Cole's record. Rooney score ten overhead kicks, just... shut... them... up.
  13. Just laid the Zaragoza equaliser, just to make sure I'm in profit for the day.
  14. It looked like Best pushed his marker in the back and he was down before the ball hit the net. Correct. Whistle had already gone. Jagielka (IIRC) went down pretty easily though although it was definitely a foul. Definitely correctly ruled out - but vexatious because you know in two weeks time, Stoke could very well benefit (probably on numerous occasions) from an absence of such a whistle - whereas both Best and Ranger (last week with his fractional offside) have had goals chalked off.
  15. Actually agree with nearly all of JH's ratings/comments. Colo looked a little off-colour and has for a few games but maybe that's just me judging him against his own exceptionally high capabilities.
  16. Barcelona fashioning chances? (Not watching, obviously).
  17. As fans we're fully entitled to speculate/discuss, but to question Enrique's attitude seems a little absurd IMO. He has run himself to the ground for us on innumerable occasions, and for all you know any sluggish/disinterested behaviour/body language on display today could have been down to tightness in hamstring prior to actually pulling up permanently. Also, he got nuts'd for a goal - which can be a knock to any defender's sunny disposition! You just don't know. Given his performances for us, I for one, am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

    Peter Løvenkrands

That's what I thought when I saw Ameobi on the bench - the thought really cheered me. Unfortunately, then players started getting injured and I remembered Pardew doesn't think it a god-awful decision to play Lovenkrands - a player who can look completely uninvolved and excluded from the game when playing centrally - out wide. We live in hope.
  19. Pardew's interview is up on this page if anyone hasn't seen it. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/9411786.stm
