These officials look paid

How is Barkley completely open in the middle of the box there
-
and out for a throw

We're very much in this

Hols for this round of FA Cup
-
If only Ramsdale could claim high balls into the box as well as Pope can... oh
-
Wolte's stamina is going to be tested this game in the middle, it's one thing being up front and isolated - you can jog about a bit but you can't do that in the middle you've got to be switched on all the time
-
Love Woltemade as a player so much, desperate for him to come good

100%, we're an investment not a vanity piece

Time for the 4-2-3-1. Tonali and Miley behind any 4 fuckers we've got fit

Personally I think Dyche's sacking is madness for any club other than Forrest. For them it seems par for the course. I heard that since he took over their form is mid-table? Madness...

& it's not like it'll affect his mobility much

Let's not let some data get in the way of a good witch hunt

No coincedence he's looked shaky since Trippier's come back into the team. Unfortunately says a lot about Trippier nowadays when Miley looks a lot more solid there (no disrespect to our wunderkind).

I don't disagree, I would have hoped that too. It does make his particular agitation around a move that much more gutting.

We're not Real Madrid, players are going to leave us, especially our best ones. And the uncomfortable truth is most of our best ones join us with the hope of using uds as a stepping stone. The likelihood of us getting to the point of Real Madrid and players across the world dreaming about playing for us is about as far away as Rochdale becoming perennial Premier League champions. Annoyance or upset over a player leaving to go to a bigger club is baffling to me. Even if PIF were going both barrells behind the scenes with stadium, training ground, etc etc, the peak career period of a player is about 5 years. It's not realistic to expect players to stick around for the long haul if we're not actively competing at the sharp end on all fronts which is what elite players want.

Very true, but that throwaway statement by someone who just doesn't know the business set expectations sky high amongst some. You'd be thinking stadium, training ground, city regeneration - everything that was mentioned would be happening. And.. it's just not. None of that is related to PSR. Personally I never understood why he said it, it's just setting ourselves up to fail. Purely something said to increase the value of the investment or just naive? Probably a bit of both I guess.

Well, it doesn't help when the new owners come in and say 'we're going to be number 1' and then don't really do much if anything to make it look like that's going to happen. The expectations were set by the owners, not by us.

If I was Barnes I'd go all-in on Scotland now, he'd have a place in the starting lineup for a few years whereas with England realistically this is not really the case. Bit like all the England-born in the Ireland squad of '94, I don't think any of them have any regrets at all from what I've heard.

Really hope this doesn't go to shit
