Our physical style is being caught up to in the PL, but we're still the best at being the team with big monsters who run for 90 minutes. Taking that style to Europe that we're so good at, is causing a lot of our opponents a big, big problem. Pace, size, stamina - we're literally running over the physically smaller, more technical teams. Joelinton particularly looks incredibly effective against these sorts of European teams.

Changed things significantly today - on and off the ball, he made changes and I'm a happy man. Clear instructions to push Joelinton up to press in a 4-4-2 shape off the ball, and on the ball we tried Tonali between Thiaw and Botman before Bruno went off, helping to alleviate the pressure on Pope when pressed and providing the verticality through to Bruno. The man for man pressing on their 2 defenders worked a treat.
