  8. RB, LB, RW.. can give him a run up front
  9. Joelinton really has to come into the middle, put Willock up front, gotta be better than this imo
  10. Now yas all know why I don't pick you lot, yer shite!
  11. Pope player of the half, Miley just behind for me.
  12. Definitely hit our limit of injuries impacting our quality. Joelinton really isn't a striker, can't receive the ball back-to-goal, which is mad given how strong he is.
  13. I guess, Murphy the enabler
  14. 4 assists off only one chance. Gotta love these meaningless stats.
  15. Lighten up lads, this thread is depressing af
  16. So much better with a higher line and playing with more patience
  17. Would have made a similar assessment of the first leg. We need to be more patient
  18. Notice they don't have that annoying fucking drum to piss off all their home fans.

    England

England - Managed by Gareth Southgate GK Pickford LB Shaw CD Stones CD Maguire RB Walker LM Bellingham CM Henderson RM Rice LW Foden CF Kane RW Saka --vs-- England - Managed by Eddie Howe GK Pope LB Burn CD Dummett CD Lascelles RB Trippier LM Willock CM Hall / Anderson / Miley RM Longstaff LW Gordon / Barnes CF Wilson RW Barnes / Gordon K that seemed closer in my head
  20. Sorry all wrong thread for this teary-eyed shit but I really have to pinch myself sometimes
  21. Aye, I mean there's a couple of obvious stand-outs that are far superior to what we have - Kane, Bellingham and further down the list Foden and Saka. But beyond these few, are what England have at international level really that much ahead of what we have on the pitch? Is that quality gap enough to overcome our intensity and never-say-die attitude? I reckon PSG's lineup was comparable on paper to an England XI without Newcastle players and we blew them away... Agreed it's not exactly nailed on, but what a nice place to be in to even broach such an absurd notion. I've said it before, but it feels like I'm in an alternate world, real-life FM save.. where Luton is in the PL, we've got (kind of) unlimited money, we're getting results sometimes that feel like they've been save-scummed Champions League after a manager's first full season in charge, a cup final... I really hope everyone is inhaling this shit because this is once-in-a-lifetime stuff for fans. This time period is going to be to some lads what the Keegan to the Robson eras felt like to me. I feel privileged to be able to go through this again.
