Think literally everyone is saying happy for the points but the performance is concerning as it doesn't show much difference to how we're performing in the league currently, and against a stronger team we'd have lost. We played a team that had half their squad injured who don't travel well and one of our players in my opinion just rivalled Kennedy vs Cardiff. Any particular point you disagree with there?

Aye, whether it's Miley or Tonali or even Bruno, we look so much better with an anchor man / pivot / half-back. It gives us options to play through the middle we don't have elsewise and gets our full backs both of them up the pitch at the same time, it stretches the opposition across the whole pitch and creates space to play through. When we sit with the 3 at the back and the opposing full back bombs on, everything gets compacted in the middle and there's no options.

Aye, along with Trippier, Murphy's passing success includes crosses and speculative passes forwards. Gordon's are pretty much all passes within 5 yards that found an Athleti player every time

But Burn has been great all over the pitch, even not taking into account a header that in my eyes is better than Van Persie's WC Finals header that lobs the keeper from outside the box from yesteryear

Dan Burn on current form being a more effective wide forward than at least two of our actual wide forwards is a fever dream
