No. Unfortunately not. I'm not sure what happened to Ailton Goncalves da Silva.

Cahill being out for you is a massive plus for us tbh. Do you know why he was wearing a black armband today btw? For those who lost their lives in the Aussie fires. And absolutely, it's a big blow but it won't affect us that much imo. That said, our record with and without Cahill makes for very interesting reading. And nope, I don't have the stats in hand, which is useful. In the league. WDL With Cahll: 10-5-4 Without Cahill: 1-2-3 Ok, these numbers are very dubious. I eye-balled the numbers on football lineups. -
Monaco-OM anyone? Can't stand either Inter or Milan. Were it possible for both clubs to lose, I suppose I'd watch.

Me too.

If Svennieboii can't make Mexico beat Costa Rica and Honduras, he deserves to be out of a job mighty quick. Well, Mexico has already lost to Honduras (in an earlier round). They only made it this far because they had a better goal differential than Jamaica. Not sure, but I think that Costa Rica is the only team to ever beat Mexico at Azteca.
-
Put aside his ability or inability to manage players. This is the be all and end all. JK: "Well, we've got our substitutions sorted out this time." What a fucking clown.
-
The US has dominated Mexico over the last decade or so. Wouldn't have expected much from Mexico in Columbus (especially Columbus). Don't think that Sven will be fired over failing to beat the US away. Were Mexico to fail to win at home (especially at Azteca), he'd be as good as gone. Just Sven's luck-- the next two games are Costa Rica (home) and Honduras (away). [After mexico and the us, the two strongest teams in the region] He could be out of a job mighty quick.

Yeah, but can he cross?

Ha! Jonas apparently plays for some club call "Newcastille".

Right. And the club wonders why they are not believed. One day we've got a five year plan and we're lamenting having to pay for poor purchases of the previous regime, and the next we're doubling down on our losses. Emre, Duff, Martins, and Luque are mentioned by name as players we are still paying for or just paid off. And Owen? Not a word. Please, let's just move on. We need a new captain and a player. I'd rather we spent the money on Martins tbh.

Arshavin to Arsenal. What? Too soon?
-
Pizarro to Chelsea.

Sacking Adams doesn't seem to me to solve the problem, just places the blame. Aside the 3-0 beating we gave them, they haven't lost too many games to teams they should be beating. They've had a tough schedule this calendar year. Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa, West Ham, Fulham (away). The club fucked over their fans-- selling Diarra and Defoe.
-
I wish they'd appoint Rowan Atkinson. that'd be great.
-
just being a competent, tenacious, premiership standard midfielder justifies it Agreed. Barton has started five games for us this season. We won two of those (including a win over Aston Villa). He left the pitch early in the Wigan game with us up a goal. We loss away to Fulham on a penalty and away to Man City. We are a far better side with Barton.

On reflection, I probably should've voted for Blackburn. Be awful to see Allardyce "succeed" there and add another Bolton to the top flight. He must be stopped now.

Not from the North East. Never acquired the requisite destain for Boro.

I picked Tottenham, Portsmouth, and West Brom. Spurs. Reasons: (1) Harry Redknapp; (2) the continental management structure; (3) they've spent a lot of money [= petty jealousy]; (4) buying back their own players; (5) Robbie Keane; (6) Glory Glory meltdown; (7) They've got some talent maybe worth buying; (8) Nice to see another club a bigger joke than us. Portsmouth: Reason: It's a good trivia question. Which club hosted AC Milan and went down the same season? West Brom: Reason: Meh.

Not necessary who you think will go down, but who you'd like to see relegated and why. I've limited the options to clubs that are currently below Newcastle United in the table.

Well, did everything go our way today? Edit: oh, tim beat me to it. C'mon Arsenal.
