Those three aye. That’s who they measure themselves against Id imagine. It’s nowt like what they used to be. Most of the new lads are rumoured to be on £100-120k max.

Looks like Zubimendi to Libpewl

The long contracts are too mitigate paying high wages somewhat. They don’t pay anywhere near the basic wage for first teamers that the others do anymore. It’s why Mount and Gallagher weren’t overly keen to sign new deals and they’re hoovering up talent from midtable Euroball/lesser leagues or age based. Their wages go up 2-300% but compared to a top PL it’s nowhere near but the financial security of the long deal means they’re more inclined to sign as it’s still a huge rise compared to established pros. In a way it makes sense but to me it breeds complacency and I can’t wait to see it fail, again.

Pretty sure he wasn’t purporting to be a Newcastle fan or hailed from the city. Lines are there for a reason. Still worhsipped him like but I think as we’d already had Cole (who’d be second choice even if he is a cunt) and Sir Les I was blasé about having class strikers and I never had as much of an attachment. My sidestep into preferring cult players had also probably begun.

This cunt here yet. Want to start getting angry at him only using one foot.
-
As the pettiest cunt alive celebrate scoring against us at your peril.

Pav Beye - Schär - Colo - José Enrique Nobby - Batty - Beardsley Ben Afri - Sir Les - Robert Isak, Albert and Bruno as subs. Longstaff and Burn as mascots. King Kev and Terry Mac on the bench and cones respectively.

Simeone absolutely loves a diminutive Argentine forward. Like an addiction for the bloke.

Embarrassing stuff from Rich. Sitting there in his Almiron shirt no doubt. Pathetic.

Me in the stands after he signs:

Howe only buying English again.
-
Ironically he’d have been ideal for Moyes set piece bombardment.

Caved and bought a ticket for the Girona game. Looks like about 28-30,000 sold this far. -
I kind of respect it. Makes no odds who the manager has been n all. I’d be exactly the same. Manager: but we don’t need another flighty inconsistent number 10 who can’t do it away from home or cope with the pace of the game for a full 90. Me: #WelcomeJames

He’s done with England. He’ll know that, he’s not daft. In an ideal world he’d be happy being a sub/cup starter for us but he doesn’t seem that type. Had this conversation so many times it boils by brain but basically always comes down to he’s class if fit but he’s rarely so. So we can’t sell him for anything worthwhile and likely suitors would put off given the outlay potentially going awry. Be amazed if he’s not eyeing one last payday if he lets his contract run down. He’s holding a decent hand in this one over the club.

Classic modern forward ain’t he. 7-8/10 at everything, even though you’d not be 100%confident if he was through one on one, which is 20+ goals a season in a decent team. You’d have him here, of course, but you’re playing your strongest XI and he’s not in it half the time.
-
Looks raw but certainly gets a shot off double quick. Can’t wait to fantasise about cutting his brakes after he doesn’t score a hatty on debut.

Craig Shakespeare, the old Leicester manager, dead at 60.

Striker and a manager away from going very, very close. Peddle Nketiah plus a couple of other non-events in addition to Death Row and they’ve potentially got the money to go big on a forward too. Suspect he’ll only start against better teams replacing that slimy Jorginho cunt.
