As mentioned my Dad hates him and he definitely wasn't the only one giving him stick at the cup final from our lot.

Awful pen to give away. Moron.

Massive pen there by Dickie Dunne.

Oh joy a Bobby Charlton docu. Never seen my Dad give anyone as much abuse as he did him at the Cup final.

That burst of pace over 5 yards is what made him IMO. Obviously he still has the technique though. It'd be a bold move but I think he'd do a decent job in the Pirlo role as the deep lying playmaker. Very true. That game for Milan at Old Trafford was one of the best I ever saw him play. He just glided over the grass that night watching him now it's like two different players it also highlights how amazing even just a bit of speed loss can affect a player. Over those two legs he was absolutely sublime. A joy to watch.

Crowd was almost exactly what Old Trafford holds. Shame it doesn't pay off construction costs though.

I love Ben Arfa on that list, odd one owt or what?

Coy as fuck from Lucas Leiva for that pen.

We've never been the same since we let Ridgewell go.

f***ing awful player, the least threatening player in front of goal I think I have ever seen and his attitude is s*** so he won't improve that. Get rid! Agreed. You fucking cunt! FYP

I remember the heady days of us being linked with him circa 08 IIRC.

If you'd read my post you'd realise why it's in here. It's the cult that travels among all footballers and onto their twitter accounts that is the pet hate. The place and food is distinctly average which compounds this. I did read it. Calm down dear.

I love playing football in nandos me. Always play the role of Dickie Carvalho and trip the waiters when no-one is looking.

Remember reading Llorente had agreed to go to Madrid in the summer but I'd imagine Adebayors arrival has put the halt on that.

Moral of the story? Jonny loves scousers and wants to cuddle all of them. As I was away with work I had to be quite reserved. What made it worse was the fact he was a really sound lad. When inside my head all I kept on thinking was "do not call him a wall pushing, murdering, cunt."

Agreed. Me too, and it's sad that there's a fair old chunk of our support who are very critical of KK. I wonder if it's the same at Liverpool, I doubt it. As an NUFC fan I find it impossible to understand those who dislike KK, absolute madness, he's provided by far and away, and it pains me to say it, the best football I'm likely to ever experience as a Newcastle fan. Unfortunately I wasn't about for his playing days but pa raves about that promotion season too. Legend.

Have really kicked on since sacking off Diego. Aboslutely buzzing about going to watch them next week, shame Real aren't at home but prefer Atleti and have not been to a game on the continent before.

My take as a ref - if a player who has been fouled talked to me directly about why is wasn't a card then we can have this conversation between the two of us. It's personal and private . If the same player gets up waiving his imaginary card, then it's a public display of dissent intended for the entire game to see. And they will be treated very different than the first person. Its the same as a referee hearing "f**k" or "F**K!!!!!" Fair comment but if I didn't speak English and wanted to convey my emotions?

Tbf, it's not just that Ash. I believe he is a very poor captain for Arsenal, that driving force should be coming from him and also the way in which you's have fallen apart in many games this season recently should ring alarm bells. Reminds me of Owen being our captain, nice gesture but totally wrong person. Arsene Wenger has that mentality though where he thinks the captaincy doesn't matter that much and just hands it to a big player has he has done with Henry/Cesc as of late. Kind of agree tbh, i think captaincy can be an excuse. Being captain means nowt IMO. It is irrelevant unless you're a team with no leaders like Arsenal.
