A fair wedge I'd have thought, might struggle for a work permit at the moment. Could do with him getting the Dutch citizenship he is applying for. Bryan Ruiz would be a canny buy from Twente too although he'd cost £15m+ I'd thought though. Luuk De Jong is supposed to be a hot talent too. Only 20. In fact there is loads of decent players in the Eredivisie and with most clubs not in the best of shape financially at the moment in Holland it could be a good time to go shopping. Pretty much guaranteed good technique and an ability to cope with the pace of the Premiership usually. Fits the buy em young, sell em on policy too for most players. AZ, Ajax and PSV are all supposed to be in need of cash so why not go for a few of their players.

There is a good video of the mackems singing his name at a pre-season friendly at Celtic on youtube actually.

He's toned it down a lot to be fair to him and Blackpool play attacking if naive football but I just don't like the bloke.

Why? It is very unlikely he will find a better teacher than Weg only a better team. So it is a case of you wanting him to go Real or Barca realistically. Not at all. Go to Italy, Spain or Germany. Players that play in a few countries are generally more rounded players especially on the international stage and in this case it would be better for England. Not enough English players go abroad IMO and its why despite the talent we have we struggle IMO. I don't think thats really true, I watched the German & Spanish teams play in the last world cup & most of there players have never left there country & they look well rounded. I don't think Brazilian players have changed that much over the decades in the way they play the outlook of there coaches has in that period of time though. The coach who often hasn't left Brazil until managing them though e.g. Scolari and Luxemburgo. To an extent I agree but the Premiership is on a limb some what compared to how international football is played out (patient attacking football) and as a result when our players are challenged to do such a thing they often cannot. Some of the more recent managers of Brazil have plenty of experience of being abroad all playing for Dunga & Parreira has a stack of managing abroad. Tbf Scolari had spent a lot his career managing abroad pre-Brazil gig. Spot on Des your correct England have been caught cold a few times but watching international football I see the best in Messi & Ronaldo not preform like they do at club level so what chance does Aaron Lennon stand. I'd hardly count Kuwait and Japan as picking up much from abroad like. Again I see what your saying but the general pace of the game that Lennon is playing in the Premiership is not comparable to international football. Although playing in Europe will help broaden his and other players games.

A big waiting list yes, but a waiting list the same size as their average attendance?, I'll believe it when I see it. Spurs are very well supported in London, probably have a bigger size support than Arsenal actually. From my experience Arsenal have loads of supporters from the home counties though. Being the sad cunt I am I always find it fairly interesting who supports who in and around London, a lot of it seems so random aside from the cores around each stadium.

Joy to watch Mati Fernandez.

I was partial to doing it on old PES. Won't happen but would make sense IMO. Could keep one joint first division, regional segunda (east/west) and then the normal regional leagues below.

Geet up Mati Fernandez.

Didn't last season(athough Hulk did get madly suspended), ridiculous how it has turned around though. Benfica, Sporting and Braga not as strong as last season but still. Always wondered how Porto would fair in La Liga.

Better off getting Harinordoquy 8 on the back looking at it.

Replaced Mereiles in the summer.

wrong demographic for most I'd imagine. In an ideal world I'd pick him, Pele and Maradona but unfortunately I've never seen them live and you can't properly judge on highlights however good the reputation.
-
Been absolutely class and key in Porto making a mockery of the Championship.
-
Were the Waffa Cup final prices announced n all? Probably cheaper to go to Dublin than London.

I'd just like to see him get a few games under his belt tbh. Yes he is quality but after his performance at Everton I fear a lot of peoples expectations are going to be too high. This being amplified by our overly shit squad.

given up on tonights football. watching the other nights shameless. Thought the Napoli game would be a cracker but it was poor. Thought the scousers might have a go seeing as they've hit a bit of form recently but alas not... The only decent Liverpool games in Europe were when they won it or when they've been beaten subsequently.
