Not sure why people are saying 15m is that much in today's market? A good right back costs 9m(Hutton) and that's coming from the Scottish league... Carrick was what, 18m? He hard hardly proved himself to be world class before he joined Manu. Deco would be worth around 15m in todays crazy money terms. No doubt.

If we signed Deco I would like to see him and Emre have a fight to the death. There can only be one midget attacking midfielder in the team. Emre would probably win since he's a turk though.

On his day Deco is world class, can;t say that about any of our other midfielders. Would be a good signing if he's up for it. Not seen this Moutinho guy tbh.

I think Beye could probably get a game for any of the top four at the moment so that tells you how good he is.

That's what shocked me about him. How or why did he not make the obvious decisions that the majority on here saw almost straight away? Must just be a very arrogant person not ready to admit when he was wrong.

If we carry on with current formation the more I see it in action the more I think Arshavin would be a really good addition to the squad. Should Oba or Owen get injured he looks like he could cover for either. I've only seen him play about 4 or 5 times but from what he's shown he would be perfect imo.

He's really made me eat my words. The new formation has done him the world of good too. If he stays fit next season what an asset he is.

I agree, they both look outstanding to me. Beye could keep going for a couple of seasons yet.

I cannot up my mind whether it should be Barton or Beye. Both have been outstanding. Yep, both pretty evenly outstanding.
