I'd love Chimbonda here, he'd be a big improvement on Beye. I thought Willie Mckay was his agent though? Would rather not to be honest, good player no doubt but has got a shitty attitude, i really dont want to see anymore disruptive influences at the club. Beye is only a year older and isnt bad to be fair. Stick with him for the time being. Funny that because when we had all the disruptive influences in the team we were in the Champions League, a good manager can cope with that through man management. Chimbonda is a big step up on Beye too. Aye and that ended well didnt it. Like i said, id rather not have him on the basis that he'd be a disruptive influence. There are obviously other options and i happen to like Beye, and dont regard Chimbonda as a "big step up" although he is an improvement. In my opinion i can afford some indiscipline to special players such as Cantona or Robert but Chimbonda, no thanks. Aye he's no big step up, a bit better going forward maybe but Beye is just as good if not a better defender.

Had more than his fair share of injury problems, if my memory serves me correctly. Not really in the past two seasons anyway. Has played 30 games already this season apparently.

Got to say I totally disagree with that. Barton is pretty good defensively but s**** attacking imo. Geremi (usually) has a very good cross and decent pass on him. Geremi is good at retaining the ball, but he rarely does anything overly-fantastic with it. Barton has the ability to pick out a great pass here and there and get forward and join the strikers, even though he's done it fuck all in his time here admittedly. Yeah I didn't see him with Man City that much right enough but here he ahsn't shown anything that would make me think he offers much in an attacking sense. Or defensively I honestly thought he was very good defensively against Birmingham, making some good tackles and putting a lot of pressure on their midfield.

You've got to keep a level head about Owen though. He's not the player he was, but he's still a striker who scores goals, and his general play was really good in the second half, even though he was playing really deep. He's certainly improving under Keegan anyway. If he had scored a lot of the chances he hasn't then he would have a very good goal record under KK.

Would be great for Taylor to get in the England squad. He's only young, still learning so of course it would.

I dont have much of a problem with that although N'Zogbia in for Barton would be my preference. Barton's passing can't get any worse than it was last night and Geremi should be sharper and hopefully his corners and crosses will be better. Butt and also Barton did a lot of good work defensively last night it has to be said.

Mainly because Geremi was offering a lot of support to the right but Barton was drifting inside more than sticking out left which is to be expected.
