For this season, better the 35M than an injured player who has yet to score after sold. For next season, depends on what is done with that 35M Aye, because Carroll wouldn't have been any sort of goal threat (whuch now barely exists) for us once he was back fit. Unbelievable. Oh for fuck sake he made so many comments about player xyz being available for this game and that game and then only to later admit that he is not ready yet. I accept that injuries are fluid and often you can't put an exact date on when the player will be available, if that is the case, then he should just say that he fucking doesn't know or give a range of possible dates. The problem with Pardew is that he makes very definitive statements like HBA will be ready for Wolves and then only having to swallow his words later when he realize it's not gonna happen...makes him look silly and I've completely lost trust in him when it comes to statements of when players are available to play again.

Tomorrow he will say that they're not quite ready yet, he won't risk them till they're 100% fit, and they should be ready in 3 weeks time...you just wait!

So is Barton playing or not? I hope so because without him, Enrique and HBA, we're almost void of any creative impetus
