seriously mate, when you do silly things like this, how do you expect others not to think that you have an anti Ashley agenda?
-
it doesn't f***ing matter any more does it? it's done man, live with it, no-one has to be happy about it but there's no point in rehashing it everytime he does/doesn't do something for Liverpool Why should we just sweep it under the carpet and forget about it? It's this kind of apathy that will let this regime do whatever they wish at our football club. So if we don't move on, what do you propose we do about it? Go on a demonstration/rally against the "regime"?

It was a case of people didn't rate him rather than people didn't like him. It's different with Pardew. Despite him averaging pretty much what Hughton did in the first half of the season, he's still pretty much hated and not-rated on here. Even if he takes us back into Europe, some still won't budge. It's sad, but true. don't agree with that. while hughton wasn't hated, there was plenty on here that didn't rate him. me included. but he won people over through hard work, a dignified approach, some sensible decisions regarding playing staff, transfers and tactics, good results and then finally performances on the pitch better than most expected. that shows that people can be won over by a manager, and the same can happen with Pardew. i think the way he was appointed counts against him, but it is nothing that can't be overcome through onfield success. Except what you've just said is a longer version of what I said My point is, Hughton won people over through what you've just detailed. But he was liked too. Pardew isn't liked, so even if he does the same alot still won't budge. fair enough, but i still think just about everyone would change their mind about pardew being "not-rated" if he was a success. bar one or two idiots who aren't worth paying attention to. I know a few of those, you can see them from the way they write in this thread. But yes seriously, it would be interesting to see how fans would react if Pardew was successful say maybe get us to qualify for Europe in 2013.

NO IT ISNT. how many times? it'll be the same old s***, we'll get spun the same old excuses and the majority will lap it up. the posters on here who pretend they're offering a 'balanced' view will continue to advocate waiting to see what happens in the next transfer window and those of us who see the club for what its become under ashely will continue to be ridiculed. nothing will change until ashley's gone. Look mate, ideally I would have liked a fair chunk of that 35M to have been spent in January and I've gone on record saying that I am mad that we did not strengthen in January (look at our squad now). But I don't think its unreasonable to say let's wait and see what happens in the summer when Pardew and the club has had a chance to assess the situation and players better. Like it or not, putting last January aside, we do have a decent record of incoming transfers and whether by design or luck we've managed to buy some really good players. Players like Tiote, Colo, HBA and Enrique could easily be playing in the top 6 if not top 4. There is no need for sarcasm, if by the end of the summer window, we have not stregthened our team and squad significatly with a good chunk of that 35M, then I'd be happy to hold my hands up and say that my optimism and wait and see approach was wrong. I just don't see the point of moaning now when we don't really know what's gonna happen in the summer.

Just to be clear, nobody is following you around. I just happen to disagree with most of your views so it's natural that I respond to those. That tends to happen on a forum you know. Anyway this is the last from me in this thread. We lost because a) players who we expected to perform did not and b) our backups/subs are piss poor. I hope/believe that 'b' will change in the summer and until I see evidence of that not happening, I'd rather support the team than moan every time we lose.

you get a grip, you've got to accept anything that happens as being good enough, you clearly don't. Ya, coz that's what Kaka was saying. You don't do the word 'exaggeration' justice. The Mick and Wullie combo is hilarious!
-
Weren't you ready to run Pardew out of town a few months back, because he wouldn't start Ranger? But then Best smashed in a hat trick and you went into hiding. Think he is well within his rights insulting your 'intelligence'. Farcical the way you come on here ranting once the result is bad, but are completely absent when the team does well. Where were you and your 'intelligence' last week? Pathetic stuff. Is this a trick question? I was at the match mate, where were you like? Wullie pulling the I'm at the match sooopafan when he has no response....why am I not surprised.

Forget that man, for 30M, I'll even put a gun to his head and make him submit a transfer request!
-
Where is all this confirmed news that he is sure to leave much less go to Liverpool coming from? You people
-
I've got no sympathy with the treatment he is getting from the pundits. When you declare yourself as the best English midfielder (not just I deserve a chance for England) and run down other colleagues, you're actions are always gonna be scrutinized and words come back to haunt you. A lot of people were pleased with his honest and 'intelligent' interview, not me. I know it's never gonna happen, but I would rather Joey shut up and let his game do the talking.

joined the party late, what's wrong with Ameobi? Injured again!?

Mimi, all you can give us is one line? Many more words to be translated! Merci beaucoup

That's been posted a couple of times already...your point being? ASHLEY OUT! /agenda seriously mate (Colocho), if you really wanna make your movement successful as a go between fans and club, you've got to at least try and present yourself as someone neutrel and not jump at the opportunity to attack the board whenever an opportunity presents itself.

Any update on this? Are we really getting a new design next season and if so which one will it be? I wanna get a HBA top but not sure if I should wait till the new design is confirmed?
-
That's good, the more players put the pressure on the regime to spend the better.
-
One of the best maybe, not sure if he carried us this season although he is an important player for us. The Barry part I've got no problems coz he's spot on but I don't like the way he sort of ran down Wishere as in "not bad" and then proceed to claim himself as the best in England. A bit of modesty and more hardwork might get him there but not yet
-
I like his honesty but there is a difference between that and being boastful. He is improving but is not even close to reaching the heights of Lampard and Gerrard. I'd rather he prove that he is the best English midfielder than declaring himself as the one
-
Unoriginal to say the least. Also suggesting i am a c*** isnt much different to actually saying it, just takes 1% of the bottle. Pathetic tbh That time of the month? I take objection to people implying i am a c***, strange you feel the need to comment on my posts and nobody elses. If you take objection at that (which is fair enough), then perhaps you should not hound another member with sarcastic remarks for making an honest mistake. You should be willing to take as much as you dish out

How many of the bottom 3 can reach 60 points? all of them man coz they're all beating each other! I would be happy with 44 which I think is attainable with or without Best
-
Does Best out of the season injury changes anything? Can we still do it with Ameobi & Lovenkrads upfront?
-
f*** me!! Poor lad. And I feel sorry for Pards too. I don't think he's had one match where he did not have at least two key players out. If we manage to finish around mid-table, it will be an achievement of epic proportions Are you his agent? Boring , try refuting for once instead of making sarcastic attacks
-
only for them to hand him back injured to us, no thanks...would rather he build his match fitness gradually with us
