I'm consistent, I said last week against Everton that he is poor with his subs (should have taken Nolan off when Everton was pummeling us in the 2nd half). Same case again today with his bizzare subs.

Yes, just about I am selling the match worn SBR shirt I bought on the official auction as needs must: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Z-Khizanishvili-Newcastle-Match-Worn-Shirt-SIR-BOBBY-/160485529626?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item255daed81a#ht_500wt_920 Sorry about that, however you will get nowhere near £550 for that because the money went to SBR Foundation and the shirt is Zurab's. People who start auctions at high prices are shooting themselves in the foot - regardless of what they may have paid for the original item. Ya but if you set at a ridiculously low price, aren't you risking selling the item for way below market price?

The transfer saga was a classis setup for a massive anti-climax but it didn't go that way, he lived up to the hype on here. When was the last time any player tried as hard to come to our club? I can't think of any in all of my time watching us, which is quite a while. He's bound to have a below par game or two and like you I hope people keep off his back when it happens as it happens to every player. I have the same worry before every game. He seems to be the type that needs to feel fans' appreciation (which would explain why he wants to be the superstar in an average team). When he has a below average game and if we get on his back, I worry if it will lead to a downward spiral which will bring out his indiscipline and and off pitch trouble making.

Milner looks out of depth in the first XI, not doing much aside from the usual running and hassling

who has said anything about sabotaging it mate?

No need to apologize when it comes to fat Sam, he deserves all the curse he gets!

Oh ya should be pricedoutoftoon...SEMTEX is much shorter though

Ya I'm cool with that, if we don't get enough it can go to the server, Bobby's charity or any other cause the admins think is worthwhile Suppose if the admin are ok and everyone clearly says their donation is for this then why not use the sites current paypal account, that way people will have more trust and if they dont get enough it can roll onto next years server bill or like you said a charitable donation. Up to the admin I suppose. Since Dave said the total cost will be 300++, ideally I wanna wait till we get around 28-30 yes votes so that there is a realistic chance of this going through. Also SEMTEX should probably get back to us (assuming admin agrees) since it was his idea and I haven't the slightest clue how to go about buying the license.

Exactly. I don't care if, say, Pilko thinks we will beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 in season 2011/2012. Not that it wouldn't be a nice thing to have freedom of, but it doesn't seem worth the £300+ quid each year. Ya for me it's actually the freedom to discuss what we want that matters, not necessarily the constant use. Plus we will be unique as I imagine we will be one of the few forums around that would have such freedom. So we'll get loads of fans from other clubs wanting to post their fixture lists too. Only they can't. Another good point, if this went through we can only post our fixtures. Which would mean even more hassle for the mods as instead of just <snipping> out fixtures, they now have to see the difference between the fixtures posted to make sure it's ours. Gosh you're seriously arguing for the sake of it. Even if in the unlikely possibility that other fans come to the forum in droves to talk about their fixture, how difficult is it gonna be. If the word Newcastle appears, don't snip. If the world Newcastle does not appear, then snip...quite simple really.

Not a big payrise though. I would give him a signing on fee. We in the past have spent too much on paying up manager's contracts, we don't want it to happen again. I'm with Neesy on this. Alternatively if we are to give him a payrise then include a relegation clause. I like the idea of pay based on performance and don't see why it shouldn't be the same for manager and player.

wow didn't realize cost of hosting was that expensive. Anyway fair point Rich, I'm willing to contribute my fair share fr hosting too whenever you guys need it that is. I can't speak for others but for me the two are not mutually exclusive.
-
That's rubbish imo. I have no problem with members giving different views no matter how shit the views are. The problem I have (and I suspect many others) is his condescending attitude towards anyone who disagrees with him and his need to make almost all arguments personal.
-
Haha good one, I would double my offer for Ronaldo to get banned
-
Agreed, can't believe people would be willing to spend £10, on something they can access with a touch of a button for nowt. Thanks for pointing out the VAT Neesy. In terms of purpose, I'll say it one last time because people are missing the point. The whole purpose is NOT to get the fixture list, yes we can get that from plenty of other sources. The point is for all forum members to be able to discuss the fixture list openly and for admin not to be worried every time someone discusses them by mistake. If you think that is a waste of money, fine there is no compulsion to contribute or even to discuss the fixtures with real names (after the license has been bought), if you don't want to.
-
That's 24 now (assuming everyone who voted yes are actually willing to pay). Serious question, do the admin agree with the proposal as in will you guys allow those willing to pay to go ahead?
-
I just feel strongly that we should be able to discuss whatever we want on this forum .....oh and I will Dave thanks
-
well we have 21 already, if all 21 (including myself of course) put down a tenner, I don't mind topping up the additional 40 quid
-
To be fair, this is the only concern I have repeated throughout. And a fair one As for financial cost to the members...there's no obligation to participate in the idea so I'm sure those who were potentially up for it are grown-up enough to decide for themselves. Again, as said in the OP...this is not a suggestion in any way, shape, or form that it's a must for all. So 'The financial cost to the members' is an over-statement tbf. Just a small group chipping in a tenner each. It's very simple and hardly the new poll tax! Just a "stupid f***ing idea"! I'm getting sick of putting smilies in over and over to make sure people know I'm lighthearted about this. So just take it a given from now on. D'oh! Thanks for the effort, tell me when the account is set up and I'll transfer via paypal. And yes I will be very happy to contribute when admin need some dosh for the server...they are not mutually exclusive. Interesting to see how quite a few are so adamant against it, I mean fair enough if you don't want to contribute, but why the need to prevent others from contributing...seriously it does not make you less of a fan if you don't contribute.
-
Ya it was cool but I think a better keeper would have saved it. On coolness though, Anelka's penalty has to be up there as one of the coolest penalty...it just rolled into the inside of the side netting
-
Yup agree with that...I really really hate Felliani and he should have been sent off for that elbow but equally he could have got at least 1 penalty against Williamson
-
Agree with most of this except the part where you insinuate that if he was a foreign manager "Christiano Hughtonio from Portugal, ...he would be the toast of football" If anything English managers like Redknapp get off easier compared to some foreign managers, but overall the press does not show bias either way. With Hughton, most recognized that whilst he has done very well so far (especially the way we went about last year with minimum fuss), he still has to be really tested. This season (and by that I mean not just after 5-6 games) will tell us whether we have an excellent manager or one which is just average.
-
seriously what formation did we play? Only 3 defenders?
-
missed the match What's this of them playing with 10 man? No red cards right?
