Dyer is such an underrated player. He offered something different to just about every other central midfield player I can think of, his ability to break beyond a defence and cause havoc was phenomenal. What a load of shite man, if he wanted to sign he would've done. He's getting stick now and rightly so (obviously not threats of violence etc.), but that wasn't the case beforehand.

I know it's not the total, but surely if somebody has a release clause and the value is met the team making the payment can dictate terms? Unless specified in the contract I suppose.

If he has a release clause then surely they can't dictate how the money is paid?
