  1. Did he not do the same last season then got that mentally long contract?
  2. Awful really unless there's something strange going on Buffon retiring then would be my guess.

    England

We had Gerrard in that mould and he didn't really do much for us.
  4. Genuinely not sure what there is to like about him.
  5. Fucking hell, that's a tremendous signing. Glad to see them back trying to compete as I've always had a soft spot for them ever since the Football Italia days.
  6. Excellent replacement for Lukaku. Shame we never made a move.
  7. Whatever Harry Kane is worth Pretty true. Kane's a bit younger. What age was the first big injury? He was probably about 23 when he did his cruciate.
  8. Peter Bosz being linked with Dortmund.

  10. Even though it wasn't for the right reasons one of my favourite Tiote memories was the game at home against Norwich when he came on (Cisse penalty miss iirc) and ran around like a bull in a China shop, made terrible tackles and was just comedic, but I loved it.
  11. I read somewhere that he's off to AC Milan.
  12. 60 pages into Rafa's Way, the man is just unbelievable. He just gets it, like Keegan did and that's the best compliment I can give him.
  13. It's good how Michael Cox recognises the shite made up in 'that' season about how bad our defence was.
  14. Has a chapter on us under Keegan.
  15. Yeah, it's out tomorrow isn't it? Just popped down as my lass wanted to get a signed copy for father's day for her dad.
  16. Just been down to Tynemouth Market to get a signed copy of Rafa's Way by Martin Hardy. Can't wait to get stuck into it like.
  17. Bargain fee that like.
  18. Meelan have signed Franck Kessi on a two year loan with an obligation to buy. That's an unreal transfer for them, they're doing some amazing work so far. Would love to see them back to where they belong.
  19. Definitely not. Look at the money Palace have spent on players recently. Plus you've got the Landan factor to enable him to attract better players. Either way I'm interested to see how he does with a team that's expecting a bit more than constantly being the underdog. I'd quite fancied Burnley to go down this season as well, not necessarily because of Dyche but they weren't that great towards the end of last season and making that transition of having to buy better quality can sometimes be a manager's undoing. Steve Bruce being the perfect example of that.
  20. He does have a massive chip on his shoulder like.
  21. Good signs we're trying to do stuff early.
  22. Nah, he won't deviate from his 4-3-2-1. I think he'll peddle Mbemba.
