  1. I'm not sure why his inclusion bothers me so much. As others have said, the fact that he's keeping Perez out is giving me blinding, lung-aching nightmares of the HBA situation where any and every excuse was wheeled out to keep him on the bench. While the likes of Gouffran, Jonas, Raylor, Gosling etc. all started ahead of him. And anytime we won, it was doubly justified keeping them in the team.
  2. Nailed it. Well, I'd hate to see him in a team playing front-foot football then, as the man can't run for shit.

    Steve McClaren

This laughable idea of a 'winning team' is hilarious. Both times we scored only when the hapless De Jong was taken off. I guess McClaren is taking this whole winning formula thing very literally after consulting with Tiote's witch doctor, that we must start with Cisse and De Jong who've combined together for a total of zero goals, to bring on the two guys who've actually scored and assisted for us this season. The strikers were never a problem for us, yet it's the only position he keeps fucking around with while leaving the midfield the same dogshit same, game after game. Unimaginative, cowardly and backward.
  4. No two ways about it, it's been absolute cowardice from McClaren since he took over. Goes for the soft conservative approach even at home against a team with only 6 points. Continuously has fucked about with our best player (Perez) since the start of the season, and keeps starting hapless wankers like Cisse, Colback and De Jong. And the same unimaginative tactics of Gini on the left. No wonder we hired him, can totally see how Colo ended up getting a new contract. "Erm, Mr. Lee, can I get a new defender and we let Colo go?" "Sit down, Steve." I like him as a bloke but he has absolutely no passion for winning.
  5. Dat intelligence. Dat vision.
  6. Yup. Should've had it on target but what the heck does he have to do to be a guaranteed starter in this team?
  7. Hyperbolic wummery. This man is keeping our best player out of the team when we are in a relegation battle and people are calling to continue giving this guy time to get used to the league Aye, let's ensure he's used to it by the time the season ends and it's a clusterfuck.
  8. Terrible starting lineup and horrendous second half gave Villa all the confidence.
  9. So far has looked as abysmal as his brother and hope we've seen the last of the de Jong brothers forever.
  10. One of the worst things about the Pardew era was to see our best and most skillful player not given a place in the team. One thing has been consistent under this dinosaur of a manager as well: there is always an excuse, always, for yanking or leaving this kid out of the team. Fucking bullshit.
  11. Aye we definitely look shaky at the back and even in CM as usual. Rain is not helping.
  12. He's been horseshit every time he's played for us but his fanboys will have you believe he's some sort of Cruyff. Never deserves to start ahead of Perez in this league, ever. Bit harsh on a bloke who's only played a handful of PL games mind. My issue is him being picked over a kid who has proven he can score and assist in this league. And we simply don't have the time and pleasure to give someone time to get used to this league when we are trying to avoid relegation.

  14. Cisse+SDJ = Pardewesque from McC. No two ways about it so far.
