Why is nobody picking up Zaha?
-
Why can't we even fucking draw games? Why does it have to be massive defeats?!
-
We keep using cisse as a target man / outball when we had Mitro who embodied that position. Dropped as if he was the most of our problems and not the lack of width or steel in midfield.
-
And people think he is suddenly going to transform into Baresi at CB. He's been horseshit in confidence and basic football skills since his return.
-
After the last two games I have that sinking feeling that this could be the year. The damage done to this club by Charnley, Carver & Ashley at the end of last season is proving irreparable by their continued incompetence in the summer and McC's appointment.
-
Colo's been an absolute liability, but shocking defending there by all and sundry. Colback losing the ball in midfield and not a single person to put in a tackle?
-
It was a game in which both Sissoko and Gini bombed forward at every opportunity and the midfield actually moved around a bit and passed the ball well. We've seen that a few times this season, but for some reason, after the Stoke game, we stopped doing those basic things. And once we won at Bournemouth after playing absolute horseshit (where complacency had already set in), we thought we were going to cruise to safety in this league. Leicester, hopefully, is one massive wake up call to these cunts.
-
Wait, this cunt is still alive?
-
I have no idea where people expect him to start. Our biggest problem is the midfield, not Perez or Mitro, who look cut off from the rest of the team because we have no midfield or ball retention. Sticking this guy in for Perez or Mitro would be like sticking cisse in for either, it would be like changing your hat when you've actually shit your pants.

Vardy looks like such a fucking chav, gosh. His movement is incredibly intelligent, however, and made our entire defence look like neanderthals in comparison time and time again. Knows his strengths and plays to them well.
-
Previously I'd have championed Dummett in the centre, but he's been especially shocking this season. Has been looking like he's afraid of the ball, and the way he gifted acres of space and possession to Mahrez (I think it was) from a ball he should've easily cleared was absolutely criminal, can you imagine him doing that in the centre?
-
No idea why they're giving a free pass to McClaren and his team. Just as responsible as the team for the lack of interest and lowered expectations.
-
Well at least SOMETHING is happening. Fuck. Seems like absolutely nobody cares, from top to bottom.
-
This has just ruined my morning coffee time. I don't know what to do now.
-
I feel so sorry for you.

"Long way to go for Perez," McClaren, before Leicester game. http://www.90min.com/posts/2736894-mcclaren-long-way-to-go-for-ayoze-perez “Ayoze is someone who is doing very well,” he said. “But he’s under contract for a long while, so I don’t think that’s an issue at the moment. He came here as a player with potential and played a little bit last season. “It’s taken him a while to get going this season but he’s certainly become an important player. I look at him, though, and he’s still got a long way to go. The potential is massive but there’s a lot to do. He’s got to do it consistently, every game, for 95 minutes. That’s what we’re asking.” Sack him.

50% win rate. That is the sole stat we've read about his time there
-
I absolutely, categorically hate Spurs. Same level of hatred as Liverpool, tbh.
-
Not just that, the fitness thing has to go back to pre-season. What exactly were McC and an entire new coaching team doing with the players? They've looked like they didn't stop playing since last season, absolutely unprofessional. Especially the flat-footedness in midfield and how nobody makes runs to open up space off the ball.
-
You probably will. That's where he played for the reserves today. Ugh, my stomach just churned.
-
Sad reading but bang on, in everything. We need to focus on getting Ashley out from hereon. We need the protests and chanting to resume.

Tactics are over rated when you don't have the personality to motivate young men. Footballers need to be inspired. Listen to how Craig Bellamy talks about Sir Bobby: “He’s s*** scared of you already, that one, son,” he’d say. Or it might be: “Get him on the turn today, son, and you’ll kill him.” Or: “Look at him, son, he’s not even fit to be on the same pitch as you.” I felt like I was the quickest player going, I felt strong, I felt invincible because of him. He would talk to me like I was the best player in the world and I went out at St James’ Park feeling like I was going to play like the best player in the world. I am 5ft 6 or 5ft 7ins tall but I am telling you this: when I put that kit on and I was standing in that tunnel with Bobby Robson, I felt like I was Didier Drogba. Can you imagine that being SMC's approach? He'll tell Anita to make sure to cover Daryl's runs and some other fancy crap. Football management is a people's game, it's not won with A2 sheets of paper ffs. Brought a tear to my eye, those quotes. Good post.

This thought briefly flickered inside me even during the Norwich game
