  1. Manyoo he was a little less isolated imo, Perez did a good job of occupying the space in that game. The same space that was totally void in the arsenal game. Fair point. I wonder how much better Perez would've fared in that environment which had Arsenal throwing themselves at the ground, as he himself is skillful enough to win freekicks in a similar manner, has quick feet, and could've caused their defence and midfield some problems.

Precisely. We need a squad, I'm perfectly okay with him coming off the bench and then playing well enough to force himself to be selected as a starter. That's how squads work, and I think he deserves that shot. Sending him on loan will just piss him off and we will be one attacker short on the bench, with Gouffran coming on.

And I love the De Bruyne comparison Right, our squad is overflowing with millions of pounds of talent on the bench that we can do with Aarons pissing away a year in the Championship. We can barely put out a fucking decent 11.

Nobody's discussing the merits and value of a season's loan for any given player. We're saying an absolute numpty (Obertan) has been given more time this season than letting Aarons develop as a player. If you want to look at how to blood young players into the fast pace of the top flight, see Wenger, Rodgers, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Dafuq did I just read? Why not? What will he achieve sitting on our bench and not playing regularly? I'm a firm believer that players need to play football to progress (ie, Armstrong). He's not good enough to start atm, so he will be limited to 20 minutes here and there. If we are keeping him long term, he will come back a better player - if we are going to sell him, then of course there is no point. Obertan. Case closed. Obertan is not going to start, is he? Perez is ahead of Aarons imo, as I believe he could play anywhere in a front four. ? Past evidence is "daft?" I hope you're right, of course, but I was pointing towards the last 3 games where Aarons should've started over Obertan. Heck, Aarons' grandmother should've started over the alien. I just don't think we should be loaning out someone who saved Pardew's fucking ass twice last season, enough for Pardew to injure the lad further by throwing him into the deep end when he wasn't even fully fit. If even Pardew can see this lad needs to be on the pitch for a bit o'majick, we need him starting ahead of the alien. Not loaned out to a division we know he will just waste his year in.

We have a strong tradition in ruining young players at this club, especially since the Pardew era.
  10. The out of breath Kevin Nolan? We've needed a scoring midfielder anyway, so let's hope he becomes a fixture, either as a starter or a sub.

who's said there's nothing wrong? The Mike Ashley effigies are still doused in kerosene, worry not. But I think most of us are simply enjoying the short term fruits of the SackPardew campaign which has finally taken the club in the right direction of living with a despotic regime but with some semblance of immediate sanity. It's like saying there are no issues at all in China now that the masses are buying iPhones and they no longer want democracy. Get real, man.

Absolutely Did anyone see the PA wench on BBC News this morning talking about this story? "well if you are going to be looking after his pets, booking his holidays and helping out with the family I think you should be asking for more than £60,000 a year". U wot. To be frank, what he or his mum is asking for in that job posting is easily a 100k+ job as you yourself will have no personal life, and you will most likely require a full team to do all the things like stock his fridge and launch his fragrance and clothing line Slavery ain't dead.
